Abstract

A cleanroom autoclave system including a reusable autoclave breather bag and a reusable fill line hopper cover. The autoclave bag is formed from a launderable abrasion resistant inner fabric layer and a launderable polyester outer fabric layer, and has a zipper closure. The hopper cover is formed from a circular bonnet and an open tubular skirt formed from a launderable polyester fabric, and includes an elastic portion and snaps to secure the hopper cover.

Claims (12)

1. A reusable fill line hopper cover for use in a cleanroom setting comprising:

a circular bonnet formed from a launderable polyester fabric;

an open tubular skirt, formed from the launderable polyester fabric, wherein the open tubular skirt is attached to the circular bonnet with silicone-free thread, and extends downward from the circular bonnet, the open tubular skirt having a hem portion opposite from the circular bonnet, said hem portion comprising an elastic portion;

a tab attached to the open tubular skirt with silicone-free thread, the tab having at least one snap attached to it; and

a plurality of snaps attached to the open tubular skirt, wherein the plurality of snaps are complementary to the at least one snap disposed on the tab.

2. The hopper cover of claim 1 , wherein the launderable polyester fabric comprises a polyester and carbon fiber blend.

3. The hopper cover of claim 2 , wherein the launderable polyester fabric comprises approximately 99 percent polyester and approximately 1 percent carbon fiber.

4. The hopper cover of claim 1 , wherein the circular bonnet and open tubular skirt are formed from two layers of launderable polyester fabric.

5. The hopper cover of claim 1 , wherein the tab comprises two female snaps.

6. The hopper cover of claim 5 , wherein the plurality of snaps attached to the open tubular skirt comprise four male snaps.

7. The hopper cover of claim 1 , wherein the at least one snap attached to the tab and the plurality of snaps attached to the open tubular skirt are formed from stainless steel.

8. The hopper cover of claim 1 , further comprising an identification means.
