Abstract

An example operation may include one or more of connecting, by a battery analytics server, to a blockchain network that includes a plurality of charging station nodes, acquiring, by the battery analytics server, a current battery data from a charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes, the current battery data includes a battery identification (ID), storing, by the battery analytics server, the current battery data with a timestamp onto a blockchain ledger, comparing, by the battery analytics server, the current battery data against a pre-stored battery data based on the battery ID, and in response to a match, issuing, by the battery analytics server, a certification for a battery to be released from the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes to a user.

Claims (37)

1. A system, comprising:

a processor;

a memory on which are stored machine readable instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:

connect to a blockchain network that includes a plurality of charging station nodes;

acquire a current battery data from a charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes, the current battery data includes a battery identification (ID);

store the current battery data with a timestamp onto a blockchain ledger;

compare the current battery data against a pre-stored battery data based on the battery ID; and

in response to a match, issue a certification for a battery to be released from the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes to a user.

2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to compare the current battery data against a battery data with the same ID that has an earlier timestamp.

3. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to compare charging parameters from the current battery data against charging parameters from the pre-stored battery data to determine a usability of the battery.

4. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to issue the certification for the battery, if a comparison result produces a match within a pre-set threshold.

5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to discard the pre-stored battery data from the blockchain ledger upon an issuance of the certification for the battery.

6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to report the battery ID to a manufacturer node in response to a mismatch.

7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the instructions are further to cause the processor to determine and report the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes if the battery is not charged over a specified time period.

8. A method, comprising:

connecting, by a battery analytics server, to a blockchain network that includes a plurality of charging station nodes;

acquiring, by the battery analytics server, a current battery data from a charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes, the current battery data includes a battery identification (ID);

storing, by the battery analytics server, the current battery data with a timestamp onto a blockchain ledger;

comparing, by the battery analytics server, the current battery data against a pre-stored battery data based on the battery ID; and

in response to a match, issuing, by the battery analytics server, a certification for a battery to be released from the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes to a user.

9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising comparing the current battery data against a battery data with the same ID that has an earlier timestamp.

10. The method of claim 8 , further comprising comparing charging parameters from the current battery data against charging parameters from the pre-stored battery data to determine a usability of the battery.

11. The method of claim 8 , further comprising issuing the certification for the battery, if a comparison result produces a match within a pre-set threshold.

12. The method of claim 8 , further comprising discarding the pre-stored battery data from the blockchain ledger upon an issuance of the certification for the battery.

13. The method of claim 8 , further comprising reporting the battery ID to a manufacturer in response to a mismatch.

14. The method of claim 8 , further comprising determining and reporting the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes if the battery is not charged over a specified time period.

15. A non-transitory computer readable medium comprising instructions, that when read by a processor, cause the processor to perform:

connecting to a blockchain network that includes a plurality of charging station nodes;

acquiring a current battery data from a charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes, the current battery data includes a battery identification (ID);

storing the current battery data with a timestamp onto a blockchain ledger;

comparing the current battery data against a pre-stored battery data based on the battery ID; and

in response to a match, issuing a certification for a battery to be released from the charging station node of the plurality of the charging station nodes to a user.

16. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 further comprising instructions, that when read by the processor, cause the processor to compare the current battery data against a battery data with the same ID that has an earlier timestamp.

17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 further comprising instructions, that when read by the processor, cause the processor to compare charging parameters from the current battery data against charging parameters from the pre-stored battery data to determine a usability of the battery.

18. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 further comprising instructions, that when read by the processor, cause the processor to issue the certification for the battery, if a comparison result produces a match within a pre-set threshold.

19. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 further comprising instructions, that when read by the processor, cause the processor to discard the pre-stored battery data from the blockchain ledger upon an issuance of the certification for the battery.

20. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 15 further comprising instructions, that when read by the processor, cause the processor to report the battery ID to a manufacturer node in response to a mismatch.
