Lure
A lure basically includes a body containing a cavity, and a swinging part that is mounted in the body. The swinging part is movable inside the cavity and emits light received from the outside. The body is configured such that the light from the swinging part is visible to outside of the body. The swinging part can also move after the lure changes from a moving state to a stopped state. Preferably, the lure further includes a spring that attaches the swinging part to the body.
1 . A lure comprising:
a body having a cavity;
at least one coil spring; and
a swinging part movably mounted in the body via the at least one coil spring so that the swinging part oscillates in the cavity relative to the body when the lure is in a moving state and for a period of time after the lure changes from the moving state to a stopped state, the swinging part having a flat plate shape,
the swinging part including a reflector that is configured to emit light received from outside of the body, the body being configured such that the light emitted from the swinging part is visible to the outside of the body,
the at least one coil spring attaching the swinging part to the body such that the swinging part is suspended from the body by the at least one coil spring, a tension of the at least one coil spring being adjusted by a weight of the swinging part such that oscillations of the swinging part continue for three seconds or more after the lure changes from the moving state to the stopped state,
a longitudinal direction of the swinging part extending along a tension direction of the at least one coil spring, and the longitudinal direction of the swinging part extending in a longitudinal direction of the body,
a first portion of the at least one coil spring extending in the longitudinal direction of the swinging part from a first longitudinal end of the swinging part to a first connection point on an interior surface of the cavity,
a second portion of the at least one coil spring extending in the longitudinal direction of the swinging part from a second longitudinal end of the swinging part to a second connection point on the interior surface of the cavity, the second longitudinal end being opposite the first longitudinal end in the longitudinal direction of the swinging part,
a first distance between the first longitudinal end of the swinging part and the first connection point being smaller than a longitudinal length of the swinging part in a stationary state in which the body and the swinging part are stationary,
a second distance between the second longitudinal end of the swinging part and the second connection point being smaller than the longitudinal length of the swinging part in the stationary state, and
both the first connection point and the second connection point being disposed closer to an uppermost portion of the interior surface of the cavity than to a bottommost portion of the interior surface of the cavity.
2 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
the swinging part includes a fluorescent body.
3 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
the at least one coil spring extends in a longitudinal direction of the body and the swinging part is suspended from the at least one coil spring.
4 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
the cavity interior is depressurized relative to atmospheric pressure.
5 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
the at least one coil spring is one coil spring having a first end and a second end disposed at opposite ends of the one coil spring,
the longitudinal direction of the swinging part extends in a longitudinal direction of the body,
the swinging part has an upper end portion and a lower end portion along a vertical direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body when the lure is oriented such that the swing part hangs downward from the one coil spring,
the upper end portion is bulged in a widthwise direction corresponding to a thickness direction of the flat plate shape of the swinging part,
a mounting hole passes through the upper end portion in the longitudinal direction of the swinging part, and
the one coil spring extends through the mounting hole and with each of the first end and the second end attached to the body at a different location.
6 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
the at least one coil spring is one coil spring having a first end and a second end disposed at opposite ends of the at least one coil spring, each of the first end and the second end being attached to the body at a different location.
7 . The lure according to claim 1 , further comprising:
a second swinging part,
the at least one coil spring being two coil springs,
one of the two coil springs being connected to the swinging part and the other of the two coil springs being connected to the second swinging part, and
each of the two coil springs being attached to the body at a different location.
8 . The lure according to claim 1 , wherein
a sum of the first distance and the second distance is smaller than the longitudinal length of the swinging part in the stationary state.
9 . A lure comprising:
a body having a cavity;
at least one coil spring; and
at least one swinging part movably mounted in the body so that the at least one swinging part oscillates in the cavity after the lure changes from a moving state to a stopped state, the at least one swinging part having a flat plate shape,
the at least one swinging part including a reflector that is configured to emit light received from outside of the body, the body being configured such that the light emitted from the at least one swinging part is visible to the outside of the body,
the at least one coil spring attaching the at least one swinging part to the body such that the at least one swinging part is suspended from the body by the at least one coil spring, the at least one coil spring being attached to an interior surface of the cavity by at least two different positions, a tension of the at least one coil spring being adjusted by a weight of the at least one swinging part such that oscillations of the at least one swinging part continue for three seconds or more after the lure changes from the moving state to the stopped state,
wherein
the at least one swinging part includes a plurality of swinging parts,
the at least one coil spring includes a plurality of coil springs,
each of the plurality of coil springs attaches a different one of the plurality of swinging parts to the body, and
both of the at least two different positions are disposed closer to an uppermost portion of the interior surface of the cavity than to a bottommost portion of the interior surface of the cavity.
10 . The lure according to claim 9 , wherein
a spacing between adjacent ones of the plurality of swinging parts is smaller than a dimension of each of the plurality of swinging parts in a longitudinal direction of the body.
11 . The lure according to claim 9 , wherein
the plurality of swinging parts includes three or more swinging parts.
12 . The lure according to claim 11 , wherein
a spacing between adjacent ones of the plurality of swinging parts is smaller than a dimension of each of the plurality of swinging parts in a longitudinal direction of the body.
13 . The lure according to claim 9 , wherein
the plurality of swinging parts includes at least a first swinging part and a second swinging part, a shape of the first swinging part being different from a shape of the second swinging part.
14 . A lure comprising:
a body having a cavity;
a plurality of coil springs; and
a plurality of swinging parts movably mounted in the body such that each of the plurality of the swinging parts oscillates in the cavity after the lure changes from a moving state to a stopped state, each of the plurality of swinging parts having a flat plate shape,
each of the plurality of swinging parts including a reflector that is configured to emit light received from outside of the body, the body being configured such that the light emitted from the plurality of swinging parts is visible to the outside of the body,
each of the plurality of coil springs attaching a respective one of the plurality of swinging parts to the body such that each of the plurality of swinging parts is suspended from the body by a respective one of the plurality of coil springs, a tension of each of the plurality of coil springs being adjusted by a weight of the respective one of the plurality of swinging parts such that oscillations of the plurality of swinging parts continue for three seconds or more after the lure changes from the moving state to the stopped state,
wherein
each of the plurality of coil springs attaches a different one of the plurality of swinging parts to the body,
each of the plurality of coil springs is arranged with one end connected to the respective one of the plurality of swinging parts and another end connected to the body,
each of the plurality of swinging parts includes a notch that opens through the flat plate shape, and
each of the plurality of coil springs is disposed within the notch of the respective one of the plurality of swinging parts and directly attached to the respective one of the plurality of swinging parts on a mounting hole provided below the notch.
15 . A lure comprising:
a body having a cavity having an upper portion and a lower portion, the body being configured to move in a reeling direction, the body including a head and a tail that are spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of the body;
at least one swinging part movably mounted in the body so as to be movable after the body changes from a moving state to a stopped state, the at least one swinging part having a plate-like shape with a longitudinal dimension extending in the longitudinal direction of the body, a height dimension extending in a height direction of the body perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body, and a thickness dimension extending in a thickness direction of the body perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the body and the height direction of the body, the thickness dimension being smaller than the longitudinal dimension and smaller than the height dimension; and
at least one rod extending inside the upper portion of the cavity in the thickness direction of the body, the at least one rod having a pair of opposite ends, each end of the at least one rod being fixed to the body inside the cavity,
the at least one swinging part having a hole that passes through the thickness dimension, the at least one swinging part being arranged such that the at least one rod passes through the hole,
an internal diameter of the hole being larger than an external diameter of the at least one rod such that a gap exists between the hole and the at least one rod,
both of the opposite ends of the at least one rod being disposed closer to an uppermost portion of an interior surface of the cavity than to a bottommost portion of the interior surface of the cavity.
16 . The lure according to claim 15 , wherein
the at least one rod includes a plurality of rods fixed to the body, and
the at least one swinging part includes a plurality of swinging parts, each of the plurality of swinging parts being arranged with a different one of the plurality of rods passing through the respective hole.
