Abstract

A radiographic imaging system includes an irradiating apparatus, a first clock, a radiographic imaging apparatus, a second clock and a hardware processor. The irradiating apparatus generates radiation. The first clock keeps time and works with the irradiating apparatus. The radiographic imaging apparatus generates image data based on received radiation. The second clock keeps time and works with the radiographic imaging apparatus. The hardware processor (i) obtains a clock value of the first clock at a predetermined time point and a clock value of the second clock at the predetermined time point respectively as first clock information and second clock information, (ii) makes a determination as to whether a specific condition is met based on the obtained first clock information and the obtained second clock information, and (iii) in response to the specific condition being met, performs a specific output.

Claims (26)

1. A radiographic imaging system, comprising:

an irradiating apparatus which generates radiation;

a first clock which keeps time and which works with the irradiating apparatus;

a radiographic imaging apparatus which generates image data based on received radiation,

wherein the radiographic imaging apparatus comprises a second clock which keeps time; and

a hardware processor,

wherein the hardware processor

(i) obtains a clock value of the first clock at a predetermined time point and a clock value of the second clock at the predetermined time point respectively as first clock information and second clock information,

(ii) makes a determination as to whether a specific condition is met based on the obtained first clock information and the obtained second clock information, and

(iii) in response to the specific condition being met, performs a specific output.

2. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein as the specific output, the hardware processor performs a correction to bring the clock value of at least one of the first clock and the second clock closer to the clock value of another of the first clock and the second clock.

3. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 2 , wherein the hardware processor performs the correction to bring the clock value of one of the first clock and the second clock closer to the clock value of the other of the first clock and the second clock before the irradiating apparatus generates the radiation.

4. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 3 , wherein the hardware processor performs the specific output in response to determining that the specific condition is met in an imaging period after performing the correction.

5. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein the hardware processor determines that the specific condition is met when a difference between the first clock information and the second clock information exceeds a specific value.

6. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein the hardware processor

obtains the first clock information and the second clock information at predetermined time points in a specific period of time,

calculates differences between the obtained first clock information and the obtained second clock information, and

determines that the specific condition is met when an average of the calculated differences exceeds a specific value.

7. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein the hardware processor

obtains the first clock information and the second clock information at predetermined time points in a specific period of time,

calculates a difference between the first clock information and the second clock information every time the hardware processor obtains the first clock information and the second clock information,

calculates an amount of change between the calculated difference and a previously calculated difference, and

determines that the specific condition is met when the calculated amount of change exceeds a previously calculated amount of change.

8. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein as the specific output, the hardware processor corrects the clock information of one of the first clock and the second clock by a certain ratio or a certain amount with reference to another of the first clock and the second clock so that the clock information of one clock is closer to the clock information of the other clock.

9. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein as the specific output, the hardware processor corrects the clock information of one of the first clock and the second clock with reference to another of the first clock and the second clock so that the clock information of one clock is closer to the clock information of the other clock.

10. The radiographic imaging system according to claim 1 , wherein as the specific output, the hardware processor stops operation of at least one of generation of the radiation by the irradiating apparatus and generation of the image data by the radiographic imaging apparatus.
