Abstract

A hydraulic system for an air cart includes a primary hydraulic assembly and a secondary hydraulic assembly. The hydraulic system also includes a first valve configured to block a flow of a hydraulic fluid flowing in a first direction from the primary hydraulic assembly and a second valve configured to block a flow of the hydraulic fluid flowing in a second direction from the secondary hydraulic assembly.

4. The hydraulic system of claim 1 , wherein the secondary hydraulic motor is configured to power a conveyor, and the conveyor is configured to convey a product into the air cart.

5. The hydraulic system of claim 1 , wherein the secondary hydraulic motor is configured to power an arm of a conveyance system of the air cart.

6. The hydraulic system of claim 1 , comprising a controller, wherein the controller is configured to generate control signals to instruct the hydraulic system to provide the different flow rates of the hydraulic fluid.

7. The hydraulic system of claim 6 , wherein the first controller is configured to access the first directional flow rate and the second directional flow rate from a storage device.

8. The hydraulic system of claim 1 , comprising a direction control valve configured to switch the flow of the hydraulic fluid between the first direction and the second direction.

9. The hydraulic system of claim 8 , comprising a controller communicatively coupled to the direction control valve, wherein the controller is configured to send a signal to the direction control valve to switch a position of the direction control valve based on user input received by the controller.

10. The hydraulic system of claim 1 , comprising a controller, wherein the controller is configured to instruct the hydraulic system to flow the hydraulic fluid in the first direction at the first directional flow rate in response to a respective user input.

11. The hydraulic system of claim 10 , wherein the controller is configured to instruct the hydraulic system to flow the hydraulic fluid in the second direction at the second directional flow rate in response to a respective user input.

12. A hydraulic system for an air cart, comprising:

a first fluid conduit configured to fluidly couple to a first hydraulic motor;

a second fluid conduit configured to fluidly couple to a second hydraulic motor;

a first hydraulic junction comprising a first member and a second member, wherein the first member of the first hydraulic junction is fluidly coupled to the first fluid conduit, and the second member of the first hydraulic junction is fluidly coupled to the second fluid conduit;

a second hydraulic junction comprising a first member and a second member, wherein the first member of the second hydraulic junction is fluidly coupled to the first fluid conduit, and the second member of the second hydraulic junction is fluidly coupled to the second fluid conduit; and

a valve assembly configured to enable a flow of hydraulic fluid through the first fluid conduit in a first direction and configured to block the flow of hydraulic fluid through the first fluid conduit in a second direction, opposite the first direction, and wherein the valve assembly is configured to enable the flow of hydraulic fluid through the second fluid conduit in the second direction and is configured to block the flow of hydraulic fluid through the second fluid conduit in the first direction, and the valve assembly comprises a direction control valve, a first check valve, and a second check valve.

13. The hydraulic system of claim 12 , wherein the direction control valve is configured to switch the flow of hydraulic fluid between the first direction and the second direction, the first check valve is configured to block the flow of hydraulic fluid through the first fluid conduit in the second direction, and the second check valve is configured to block the flow of hydraulic fluid through the second fluid conduit in the first direction.
