Abstract

Provided herein are compounds of Formula I, pharmaceutical compositions thereof, and methods of their use for treating, preventing, or ameliorating one or more symptoms of a neurological disease, neurodegenerative disorder, or diabetes.

Claims (8)

1. A compound of Formula I:

or an enantiomer, a mixture of enantiomers, a mixture of two or more diastereomers, or an isotopic variant thereof; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate, or hydrate thereof; wherein:

R 2 is methyl;

R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are each independently (a) hydrogen, cyano, or halo or (b) C 1-6 alkyl with the proviso that R 3 and R 7 are not concurrently Cl; and

R 1 is optionally substituted phenyl, thiophenyl, or furanyl with the proviso that R 1 is not 2-methoxy-phenyl or 2-butoxy-phenyl.

2. The compound according to claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , and R 7 are hydrogen.

3. The compound according to claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R 1 is mono or disubstituted phenyl or 2-thienyl.
