Abstract

An organic electroluminescent device includes a first transistor, a power supply line layer connected to one current terminal of the first transistor, a capacitive element including a first capacitive electrode connected to a gate of the first transistor, and a second capacitive electrode, a signal line, and a pixel electrode connected to the other current terminal of the first transistor, the first capacitive electrode is provided on a layer over the gate of the first transistor, and the power supply line layer is provided on a layer between the first capacitive electrode and the signal line.

Claims (34)

1. An organic electroluminescent device, comprising:

a first transistor having a first gate electrode and a first current terminal;

a pixel electrode electrically connected to the first current terminal of the first transistor;

a capacitive element including:

a first capacitive electrode electrically connected to the first gate electrode of the first transistor;

a second capacitive electrode formed on a layer disposed between a layer on which the first gate electrode is formed and a layer on which the first capacitive electrode is formed; and

a dielectric film disposed between the first capacitive electrode and the second capacitive electrode;

a signal line; and

a power supply line layer disposed between a layer on which the signal line is formed and the layer on which the first capacitive electrode is formed,

wherein the second capacitive electrode is electrically connected to the power supply line layer.

2. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a second transistor having a second gate electrode and a second current terminal; and

a scanning line electrically connected to the second gate of the second transistor,

wherein the signal line is connected to the second current terminal of the second transistor, and

the second capacitive electrode is formed is disposed between the layer on which the first capacitive electrode is formed and the layer on which the signal line is formed.

3. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 2 , wherein the second capacitive electrode is disposed between a layer on which the scanning line is formed and the layer on which the signal line is formed.

4. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 2 , wherein the signal line is disposed between the layer on which the first capacitive electrode is formed and a layer on which the pixel electrode is formed.

5. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a plurality of conduction holes penetrating respective layers from a layer on which the first current terminal of the first transistor is formed to a layer on which the pixel electrode is formed; and

a plurality of relay electrodes respectively connected to the plurality of conduction holes,

wherein the first current terminal of the first transistor is connected to the pixel electrode by the plurality of conduction holes and the plurality of relay electrodes.

6. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , wherein the layer on which the second capacitive electrode is formed is under the power supply line layer.

7. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a gate wiring connected to the first gate electrode of the first transistor,

wherein the first capacitive electrode is electrically connected to the gate wiring, and the layer on which the first capacitive electrode is formed is under the gate wiring.

8. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 2 , wherein the capacitive element and the second transistor are arranged to overlap each other in a plan view.

9. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , wherein the capacitive element and the first transistor are arranged to overlap each other in a plan view.

10. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 , further comprising:

a second transistor connected between the first current terminal of the first transistor and the pixel electrode,

wherein the capacitive element and the second transistor are arranged to overlap each other in a plan view.

11. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 10 , further comprising:

a third transistor having a third current terminal connected to a connection portion with the first current terminal of the first transistor and a second current terminal of the second transistor,

wherein the capacitive element and the third transistor are arranged to overlap each other in a plan view.

12. An electronic apparatus comprising the organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1 .
