Abstract

According to one embodiment, an eye movement detecting device comprises first, second, third, fourth and fifth electrodes. A line connecting the first and the third electrodes passes through the right eye and a line connecting the second and the fourth electrodes passes through the left eye on at least one of a front view, a plan view or a side view. A distance between the fifth and the first electrodes is equal to a distance between the fifth and the second electrodes. A distance between the fifth and the third electrodes is equal to a distance between the fifth and the fourth electrodes. The detector respectively detects a horizontal movement of the right eye and a horizontal movement of the left eye.

Claims (25)

1 . A wearable device comprising:

a display configured to display an image;

a detector configured to detect whether a user of the wearable device sees a near object or a distant object; and

a controller configured to change the image displayed by the display based at least in part on a detection signal from the detector.

2 . The wearable device of claim 1 , wherein

the detector comprises a sensor configured to sense a convergence of an right eye and a left eye and is configured to detect whether the user sees the near object or the distant object based at least in part on the convergence.

3 . The wearable device of claim 2 , wherein

the sensor is configured to sense an intersection of a line of sight of the right eye and a line of sight of the left eye.

4 . The wearable device of claim 1 , further comprising:

an eyewear having a frame capable of holding a glass or lens, wherein

the display is placed at a part of the glass or a part of the lens and is configured to display a binocular augmented reality image including a right image and a left image; and

the controller is configured to adjust a distance between the right image and the left image based at least in part on the detection signal.

5 . A display method for a wearable device comprising a display configured to display an image, the method comprising:

detecting whether a user of the wearable device sees a near object or a distant object; and

changing the image displayed by the display based at least in part on a detection result indicative of whether the user sees the near object or the distant object.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein

the detecting comprising sensing a convergence of an right eye and a left eye and

the detecting is based at least in part on the convergence.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein

the sensing comprises sensing an intersection of a line of sight of the right eye and a line of sight of the left eye.

8 . The method of claim 5 , wherein

the wearable device further comprises an eyewear having a frame capable of holding a glass or lens; and

the display is placed at a part of the glass or a part of the lens and is configured to display a binocular augmented reality image including a right image and a left image,

the method further comprising

adjusting a distance between the right image and the left image based at least in part on the detection result.
