a lock extending from the pass through portion, the lock comprising:

a lock member; and

a release trigger; and

a vehicle portion operatively coupled to the device portion, the vehicle portion comprising:

a slot configured for receiving at least a portion of the lock; and

an opening configured for receiving at least a portion of an element of the vehicle.

2. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the surface of the outer portion of the device portion is configured for gripping the outer surface of the windshield.

3. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the pass through portion is configured to float within the opening in the windshield.

4. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the lock member and the release trigger are spaced apart from each other.

5. The clamp of claim 4 , comprising a flexible coupling between at least a portion of the lock member and at least a portion of the release trigger.

6. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the release trigger comprises a ridge configured for detachably coupling the lock to the vehicle portion.

7. The clamp of claim 6 , wherein the vehicle portion comprises a ridge configured to latch with the ridge of the release trigger.

8. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion and the device portion are detachable.

9. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion and the device portion are rotatably coupled to each other.

10. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion and the device portion are not detachable.

11. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion is configured to be coupled to and removed from the element of the vehicle without using tools.

12. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion comprises one or more cams configured to engage an internal surface of the windshield.

13. The clamp of claim 12 , wherein at least one of the one or more cams is configured for securing the windshield between the outer portion of the device portion and the vehicle portion.

14. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the element of the vehicle is one of a frame, a bar, a tube, and a roll over protection structure.

15. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion comprises a release handle configured to enable an operator to disengage the vehicle portion from the element of the vehicle.

16. The clamp of claim 1 , configured to secure the windshield between the outer portion of the device portion and the vehicle portion.

17. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the opening of the vehicle portion has a semi-circular shape or a semi-oval shape.

18. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the opening of the vehicle portion comprises one or more ridges or straight edges.

19. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion is at least partially flexible.

20. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion is configured such that the vehicle element can be pressed, slid, or snapped into the opening.

21. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein an inner surface of the lock substantially aligns with an inner surface of the vehicle portion when the lock is in the locked position.

22. The clamp of claim 21 , wherein the release trigger extends out of the slot in the vehicle portion.

23. The clamp of claim 1 , wherein the vehicle portion comprises a release handle.
