Abstract

The present disclosure provides compounds useful for the prevention of amyloid formation and the treatment of amyloid related disorders, including synucleopathies such as Parkinson's Disease.

Claims (18)

1. A compound of Formula (II-a-1) or Formula (II-a-2):

or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein:

R is H or —CH 3 ;

R 1 is —OH;

R 2 is —H or —CH 3 ;

R 3 is phenyl substituted with n instances of R 4 ;

R 4 is —OH;

n is 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4;

m is 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4; and

the sum of all instances of m and n is 2-9.

2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein

the sum of all instances of m and n is at least three.

3. A compound selected from:

and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.

4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 1 , or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

5. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R is H.

6. The compound of claim 1 , wherein R 2 is —CH 3 .

7. The compound of claim 1 , wherein m is 1, 2, or 3.
