Abstract

A heat pump system includes a first heat pump and a second heat pump. The first heat pump includes a first outdoor unit. The first outdoor unit includes a compressor, an outdoor-unit connecting pipe, and a refrigerant filling port. The outdoor-unit connecting pipe connects an intake path of the compressor and a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump for supplying a refrigerant to the second outdoor unit of the second heat pump. The refrigerant filling port is provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

Claims (51)

1. A heat pump system comprising:

a first heat pump; and

a second heat pump; and

wherein the first heat pump includes a first outdoor unit, the first outdoor unit comprising:

a compressor;

an outdoor-unit connecting pipe connecting an intake path of the compressor and a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump for supplying a refrigerant to the second outdoor unit of the second heat pump;

a first expansion valve provided in a first portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between a first connecting part connected to the intake path and a second connecting part connected to an oil supply pipe; and

a refrigerant filling port provided in a second portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

2. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

an oil separator provided in a discharge path of the compressor.

3. The heat pump system of claim 1 , further comprising:

an oil supply pipe configured to provide oil from an oil separator to the second heat pump via the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

4. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

an oil supply pipe extending from a predetermined position of an oil separator to the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

5. The heat pump system of claim 4 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

an on-off valve provided on the oil supply pipe.

6. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the refrigerant filling port is provided between the second connecting part and the first expansion valve.

7. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the first connecting part comprises an intersection of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe and the intake path.

8. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the second connecting part comprises an intersection of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe and the oil supply pipe.

9. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the first connecting part is disposed between a heat exchanger provided on the intake path and a second expansion valve provided on the intake path.

10. The heat pump system of claim 1 , further comprising a connecting pipe that connects the outdoor-unit connecting pipe to the second outdoor unit.

11. The heat pump system of claim 10 , further comprising a manual on-off valve provided on the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between the refrigerant filling port and the connecting.

12. A heat pump system comprising:

a first heat pump; and

a second heat pump; and

wherein the first heat pump includes a first outdoor unit and a first indoor unit, the first outdoor unit comprising:

a compressor;

an outdoor-unit connecting pipe connected to an intake path of the compressor and a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump for filling the intake path of the compressor with a refrigerant supplied from the second outdoor unit of the second heat pump;

an expansion valve provided in a first portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between a first connecting part connected to the intake path and a second connecting part connected to an oil supply pipe; and

a refrigerant filling port provided in a second portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

13. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the outdoor-unit connecting pipe is configured to supply the refrigerant to the second outdoor unit of the second heat pump for filling the intake path of the compressor with the refrigerant.

14. The heat pump system of claim 13 , wherein:

the refrigerant filling port is provided between the second connecting part and the expansion valve.

15. The heat pump system of claim 13 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

an oil separator provided in a discharge path of the compressor; and

an oil supply pipe extending from a predetermined position of the oil separator to the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.

16. A heat pump system comprising:

a first heat pump; and

a second heat pump; and

wherein the first heat pump includes a first outdoor unit, the first outdoor unit including:

an oil supply pipe extending from a predetermined position of an oil separator to an outdoor-unit connecting pipe connected to a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump;

an on-off valve provided on the oil supply pipe; and

a first expansion valve provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between a first connecting part connected to an intake path and a second connecting part connected to the oil supply pipe.

17. The heat pump system of claim 1 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

an oil supply pipe extending from a predetermined position of an oil separator to an outdoor-unit connecting pipe connected to a second outdoor unit of the second heat pump;

an on-off valve provided on the oil supply pipe; and

a first expansion valve provided in a portion of the outdoor-unit connecting pipe between a first connecting part connected to an intake path and a second connecting part connected to the oil supply pipe.

18. The heat pump system of claim 17 , wherein the first outdoor unit further comprises:

the oil separator provided in a discharge path of a compressor.

19. The heat pump system of claim 17 , wherein:

the oil supply pipe is configured to provide oil from the oil separator to the second heat pump via the outdoor-unit connecting pipe.
