BLOCKCHAIN-ENABLED CONTACT CENTER
Disclosed is a contact center that stores data related to a consumer in a blockchain. More specifically, disclosed is a methodology for conducting and concluding a communication with the consumer; creating a record of the communication; encrypting the record of the communication with asymmetric cryptography; and updating the blockchain with the record of the communication.
1 . A method for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the method comprising:
receiving an incoming communication from the consumer;
concluding the communication;
creating a record of the communication;
encrypting the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography, the first key and second key both being private keys; and
updating a blockchain with the record of the communication.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center and the consumer.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first key is associated with the consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer and the contact center.
8 . A system for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the system comprising:
a memory;
a processor operatively coupled to the memory for:
receiving an incoming communication from the consumer;
concluding the communication;
creating a record of the communication;
encrypting the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography, the first key and second key both being private keys; and
updating a blockchain with the record of the communication.
9 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
10 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
11 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center and the consumer.
12 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
13 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
14 . The system of claim 8 , further configured such that the first key is associated with the consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer and the contact center.
15 . A computer-readable storage medium comprising computer-readable instructions for a contact center to store in a blockchain data related to a consumer, the computer-readable instructions comprising instructions that cause a processor to:
receive an incoming communication from the consumer;
conclude the communication;
create a record of the communication;
encrypt the record of the communication with a first key, wherein said record can be decrypted using a second key, the first key and second key operable as an encoder/decoder pair of keys for asymmetric cryptography, the first key and second key both being private keys; and
update the blockchain with the record of the communication.
16 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the first key is associated with the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center and the consumer.
19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the consumer.
20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , further comprising instructions whereby the first key is associated with consumer and the contact center, and the second key is associated with the contact center.
