Abstract

The device makes it possible to dispense predetermined metered quantities of liquid. It includes a sealing member that can take up a liquid release position, allowing liquid to flow out of the device, and a non-return position preventing liquid from flowing back into the device. The sealing member is provided with metering means for metering out the liquid to be dispensed.

Claims (27)

1. A device for dispensing predetermined metered quantities of liquid comprising:

a sealing member that can take up a liquid release position allowing liquid to flow out of the device and a non-return position preventing liquid from flowing back into the device;

a metering element provided in the sealing member for metering out the liquid to be dispensed and forming drops of liquid, wherein the metering element comprises a flared shape;

a liquid-passing channel opening out into the metering element; and

a bearing element for bearing against the sealing member in front of a recessed zone and serving to deform the sealing member so that the sealing member takes up its non-return position.

2. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the sealing member is an elastomer element that is made entirely of elastomer.

3. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the sealing member comprises an elastomer portion and a rigid portion, said portions being constrained to move with each other.

4. The device according to claim 3 , wherein the metering element is formed in the rigid portion.

5. The device according to claim 1 , wherein the portion of the sealing member that is provided with the metering element is disposed in the immediate vicinity of an orifice for releasing liquid from the device.

6. A device for dispensing predetermined metered quantities of liquid comprising:

a sealing member that can take up a liquid release position allowing liquid to flow out of the device and a non-return position preventing liquid from flowing back into the device;

a metering element provided in the sealing member for metering out the liquid to be dispensed and forming drops of liquid, wherein the metering element comprises a flared shape;

a liquid-passing channel opening out into the metering element;

wherein the sealing member has a flexible portion, and the device further comprises a bearing element for bearing against the sealing member, serving to deform the flexible portion of the sealing member so that the sealing member takes up its non-return position.

7. The device according to claim 6 , wherein the sealing member is an elastomer element that is made entirely of elastomer.

8. The device according to claim 6 , wherein the sealing member comprises an elastomer portion and a rigid portion, said portions being constrained to move with each other.

9. The device according to claim 8 , wherein the metering element is formed in the rigid portion.

10. The device according to claim 6 , wherein the portion of the sealing member that is provided with the metering element is disposed in the immediate vicinity of an orifice for releasing liquid from the device.

11. A device for dispensing predetermined metered quantities of liquid comprising:

a sealing member that can take up a liquid release position allowing liquid to flow out of the device and a non-return position preventing liquid from flowing back into the device;

a metering element provided in the sealing member for metering out the liquid to be dispensed and forming drops of liquid, wherein the metering element comprises a flared shape;

a liquid-passing channel opening out into the metering element; and

wherein the flared shape of the metering element opens out into a cylindrical shape.

12. The device according to claim 11 , wherein the sealing member is an elastomer element that is made entirely of elastomer.

13. The device according to claim 11 , wherein the sealing member comprises an elastomer portion and a rigid portion, said portions being constrained to move with each other.

14. The device according to claim 13 , wherein the metering element is formed in the rigid portion.

15. The device according to claim 11 , wherein the portion of the sealing member that is provided with the metering element is disposed in the immediate vicinity of an orifice for releasing liquid from the device.
