COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system for: monitoring the performance of one or more performance-based employees within an automotive space, thus defining performance information for the one or more performance-based employees; receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time; and in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots.
1 . A compensation management method, executed on a computing device, comprising:
monitoring the performance of one or more performance-based employees within an automotive space, thus defining performance information for the one or more performance-based employees;
receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time; and
in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots.
2 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a specific performance-based employee included within the one or more performance-based employees.
3 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a manager of the one or more performance-based employees.
4 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a department within an automotive space.
5 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
an automotive body shop space;
an automotive finance & insurance space;
an automotive administrative space;
an automotive franchisor space; and
an automotive parts space.
6 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the performance information is obtained from one or more of:
a customer relationship management platform,
an inventory management platform,
an accounting platform,
a proprietary data feed,
a proprietary data file,
a proprietary datastore,
manually-entered data, and
a dealership management platform.
7 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time includes:
receiving a plurality of snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at a plurality of points in time.
8 . The compensation management method of claim 7 wherein in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots includes:
in response to receiving the plurality of snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at a plurality of points in time, thus defining a plurality of snapshots.
9 . The compensation management method of claim 8 comprising:
comparing the plurality of snapshots.
10 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time includes:
receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time at a defined periodicity.
11 . The compensation management method of claim 10 wherein the defined periodicity includes one or more of:
once daily;
once weekly;
once monthly;
prior to effectuating payroll for the one or more performance-based employees; and
subsequent to effectuating payroll for the one or more performance-based employees.
12 . A computer program product residing on a computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
monitoring the performance of one or more performance-based employees within an automotive space, thus defining performance information for the one or more performance-based employees;
receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time; and
in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots.
13 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a specific performance-based employee included within the one or more performance-based employees.
14 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a manager of the one or more performance-based employees.
15 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a department within an automotive space.
16 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
an automotive body shop space;
an automotive finance & insurance space;
an automotive administrative space;
an automotive franchisor space; and
an automotive parts space.
17 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein the performance information is obtained from one or more of:
a customer relationship management platform,
an inventory management platform,

a proprietary data feed,
a proprietary data file,
a proprietary datastore,

18 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time includes:

19 . The computer program product of claim 18 wherein in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots includes:
in response to receiving the plurality of snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at a plurality of points in time, thus defining a plurality of snapshots.
20 . The computer program product of claim 19 comprising:
comparing the plurality of snapshots.
21 . The computer program product of claim 12 wherein receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time includes:
receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time at a defined periodicity.
22 . The computer program product of claim 21 wherein the defined periodicity includes one or more of:
once daily;
once weekly;
once monthly;
prior to effectuating payroll for the one or more performance-based employees; and
subsequent to effectuating payroll for the one or more performance-based employees.
23 . A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:
monitoring the performance of one or more performance-based employees within an automotive space, thus defining performance information for the one or more performance-based employees;
receiving one or more snapshot requests for at least a portion of the performance information at one or more points in time; and
in response to receiving the one or more snapshot requests, saving at least a portion of the performance information at the one or more points in time, thus defining one or more snapshots.
24 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a specific performance-based employee included within the one or more performance-based employees.
25 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a manager of the one or more performance-based employees.
26 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more snapshot requests are received from a department within an automotive space.
27 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
