COMPENSATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system for: defining one or more available compensation plans for performance-based employees within an automotive space; enabling a specific performance-based employee to review the one or more available compensation plans and select a specific compensation plan; and requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan.
1 . A compensation management method, executed on a computing device, comprising:
defining one or more available compensation plans for performance-based employees within an automotive space;
enabling a specific performance-based employee to review the one or more available compensation plans and select a specific compensation plan; and
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan.
2 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
an automotive body shop space;
an automotive finance & insurance space;
an automotive administrative space;
an automotive franchisor space; and
an automotive parts space.
3 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of products.
4 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of services.
5 . The compensation management method of claim 1 wherein requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan includes:
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan via an electronic signature.
6 . The compensation management method of claim 1 further comprising:
interfacing with a payroll platform.
7 . The compensation management method of claim 6 further comprising:
providing confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan to the payroll platform.

The compensation management method of claim 7 wherein the payroll platform is configured to compensate the specific performance-based employee in accordance with the specific compensation plan only after confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan is received by the payroll platform.
9 . The compensation management method of claim 1 further comprising:
obtaining performance information for the specific performance-based employee; and
calculating compensation information for the specific performance-based employee based, at least in part, upon the performance information and the specific compensation plan.
10 . The compensation management method of claim 9 wherein the performance information is obtained from one or more of:
a customer relationship management platform,
an inventory management platform,
an accounting platform,
a proprietary data feed,
a proprietary data file,
a proprietary datastore,
manually-entered data, and
a dealership management platform.
11 . A computer program product residing on a computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:
defining one or more available compensation plans for performance-based employees within an automotive space;
enabling a specific performance-based employee to review the one or more available compensation plans and select a specific compensation plan; and
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan.
12 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
an automotive body shop space;
an automotive finance & insurance space;
an automotive administrative space;
an automotive franchisor space; and
an automotive parts space.
13 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of products.
14 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of services.
15 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan includes:
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan via an electronic signature.
16 . The computer program product of claim 11 further comprising:
interfacing with a payroll platform.
17 . The computer program product of claim 16 further comprising:
providing confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan to the payroll platform.

The computer program product of claim 17 wherein the payroll platform is configured to compensate the specific performance-based employee in accordance with the specific compensation plan only after confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan is received by the payroll platform.
19 . The computer program product of claim 11 further comprising:
obtaining performance information for the specific performance-based employee; and
calculating compensation information for the specific performance-based employee based, at least in part, upon the performance information and the specific compensation plan.
20 . The computer program product of claim 19 wherein the performance information is obtained from one or more of:
a customer relationship management platform,
an inventory management platform,
an accounting platform,
a proprietary data feed,
a proprietary data file,
a proprietary datastore,
manually-entered data, and
a dealership management platform.
21 . A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:
defining one or more available compensation plans for performance-based employees within an automotive space;
enabling a specific performance-based employee to review the one or more available compensation plans and select a specific compensation plan; and
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan.
22 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein the automotive space includes one or more of:
an automotive sales space;
an automotive service space;
an automotive body shop space;
an automotive finance & insurance space;
an automotive administrative space;
an automotive franchisor space; and
an automotive parts space.
23 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of products.
24 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein the performance-based employee is a performance-based seller of services.
25 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan includes:
requiring the specific performance-based employee to memorialize their selection of the specific compensation plan via an electronic signature.
26 . The computing system of claim 21 further comprising:
interfacing with a payroll platform.
27 . The computing system of claim 26 further comprising:
providing confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan to the payroll platform.

The computing system of claim 27 wherein the payroll platform is configured to compensate the specific performance-based employee in accordance with the specific compensation plan only after confirmation of the specific performance-based employee memorializing their selection of the specific compensation plan is received by the payroll platform.
29 . The computing system of claim 21 further comprising:
obtaining performance information for the specific performance-based employee; and
calculating compensation information for the specific performance-based employee based, at least in part, upon the performance information and the specific compensation plan.
30 . The computing system of claim 29 wherein the performance information is obtained from one or more of:
a customer relationship management platform,
an inventory management platform,
an accounting platform,
a proprietary data feed,
a proprietary data file,
a proprietary datastore,
manually-entered data, and
a dealership management platform.
