Abstract

This system is a decentralized computerized system for administration and management of a construction or manufacturing project having kiosk physically or virtually associated with the project and configured for receiving a building information model from a design computing device, transmitting the bill of material to a supply computer device, informing a third-party supplier to deliver the materials to the construction site, receiving a material delivery information, receiving an internal and external inspection information, receiving regulatory compliance information, receiving insurance information and receiving labor information, debiting a first account associated with the project and crediting a second account associated with the project, creating records or certificates representing various verifications of stages of the construction project and storing the records or certificates on a distributed ledger.

Claims (43)

1. A computerized system for creating a digital memorialization of a construction project comprising:

a kiosk disposed at a construction site associated with the construction project and in communication with a distributed ledger;

a computer readable medium included in the kiosk;

a display included in the kiosk and in communications with the computer readable medium; and,

a set of non-transitory computer readable instructions included in the kiosk adapted for:

receiving a set of regulatory requirements from a regulatory entity, determining whether a set of physical materials, an installation process and a group of workers used at the construction site are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements, creating a compliance record representing the determination that the set of physical materials, the installation process and the group of workers used at the construction site are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements, storing the compliance record on the distributed ledger,

receiving a planned bill of materials from a design company representing physical construction materials needed for the construction project, creating an actual bill of materials for the construction project representing a actual set of materials delivered to the construction site by a supply company, creating a final bill of materials according to a difference between the planned bill of materials and the actual bill of materials, storing the final bill of materials on the distributed ledger,

receiving a set of internal inspection information entered into the kiosk from an inspector representing an internal physical inspection of the construction project at predetermined stages of the construction project, creating an inspection record according to the set of internal inspection information, storing the inspection record on the distributed ledger,

receiving a set of completion criteria from the regulatory entity, determining whether the set of completion criteria has been met according to the set of completion criteria, creating a completion record according to a determination that the set of completion criteria has been met, and storing the completion record on the distributed ledger.

2. The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the compliance record, inspection record, completion record, and final bill of materials aggregate to define a digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger.

3. The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the compliance record is a certificate of regulatory compliance, the inspection record is a certificate of inspection, and wherein the completion record is a certification of completion.

4. The computerized system of claim 3 wherein the certificate of regulatory compliance, certificate of inspection and certificate of completion aggregate to define a digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger.

5. The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for creating a certificate of materials from the final bill of materials.

6. The computerized system of claim 5 wherein the compliance record, inspection record, completion record, and certificate of materials aggregate to define a digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger.

The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving a set of labor requirements from a labor provider, receiving an identification information from a laborer, determining if the laborer is in compliance with the set of labor requirement, creating a labor record according to the determining that the laborer is in compliance with the set of labor requirements and storing the labor record on the distributed ledger.

8. The computerized system of claim 7 wherein the set of labor requirements includes labor regulatory compliance, license requirements, and contractual requirements associated with the construction site.

The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving a set of insurance compliance criteria from an insurance provider, determining whether the set of insurance compliance criteria have been met according to the compliance record, the final bill of materials and the inspection record, creating an insurance record according the determination that the set of insurance compliance criteria has been met, storing the insurance record on the distributed ledger.

10. The computerized system of claim 9 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving an insurance information from the distributed ledger.

The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving a site preparation verification representing that the construction site is ready for initiation of the construction project and the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions for creating the compliance record includes creating a compliance record according to the site preparation verification.

12. The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving a set of regulatory requirements from a regulatory entity from the distributed ledger.

13. The computerized system of claim 1 including a sensor included in the kiosk for determining the actual set of materials delivered to the construction site.

14. The computerized system of claim 1 wherein the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for receiving a payment information from the distributed ledger.

15. A computerized system for creating a digital memorialization of a construction project comprising:

a kiosk disposed at a construction site associated with the construction project and in communication with a distributed ledger;

a computer readable medium included in the kiosk; and,

a set of non-transitory computer readable instructions included in the kiosk adapted for:

receiving a set of regulatory requirements from a regulatory entity, determining whether a set of physical materials used at the construction site and an installation process are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements, creating a compliance record according to the determination that the set of physical materials and the installation process are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements, storing the compliance record on the distributed ledger,

receiving a set of internal inspection information entered into the kiosk from an internal inspector representing an internal physical inspection of the construction project, receiving a set of external inspection information from an external inspector computer device representing a third party physical inspection of the construction project, creating an inspection record according to the set of internal inspection information and the set of external inspection information, storing the inspection record on the distributed ledger,

receiving a set of completion criteria from a design entity and the regulatory entity, determining whether the set of completion criteria has been met according to the compliance record, the inspection record and a set of occupancy requirements have been met, creating a completion record according to a determination that the set of completion criteria has been met, and storing the completion record on the distributed ledger.

16. The computerized system of claim 15 wherein the compliance record, inspection record and completion record aggregate to define a digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger.

17. The computerized system of claim 15 wherein the set of completion criteria include design verification information representing that the construction project is in compliance with a design received from the design entity.

18. The computerized system of claim 17 the digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger includes a third-party verification of the compliance record, inspection record and completion record.

19. The computerized system of claim 15 including a smart contract representing a commercial transaction associated with the construction site and the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for determining whether the smart contract has been satisfied.

The computerized system of claim 15 including a weather station included in the kiosk for receiving a current weather conditions at a time of the installation process and the set of non-transitory computer readable instructions include instructions for creating the compliance record including creating the compliance record according to the current weather conditions being in compliance with a set of weather criteria included in the set of regulatory requirements.

21. The computerized system of claim 20 wherein the current weather conditions including temperature, air movement, humidity, precipitation, barometric pressure, direct sunlight, or any combination thereof.

22. A computerized system for creating a digital memorialization of a construction project comprising:

a kiosk disposed at a construction site associated with the construction project and in communication with a distributed ledger;

a computer readable medium included in the kiosk; and,

a set of non-transitory computer readable instructions included in the kiosk adapted for:

retrieving a set of regulatory requirements from the distributed ledger, determining whether a set of physical materials used at the construction site and an installation process are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements, creating a compliance record according to the determination that the set of physical materials and the installation process are in compliance with the set of regulatory requirements,

storing the compliance record on the distributed ledger, receiving a set of inspection information entered into the kiosk from an inspector representing a physical inspection of the construction project, creating an inspection record according to the set of inspection information storing the inspection record on the distributed ledger,

retrieving a set of completion criteria from the distributed ledger, determining whether the set of completion criteria has been met according to the compliance record, the inspection record and a set of occupancy requirements have been met, creating a completion record according to a determination that the set of completion criteria has been met, and storing the completion record on the distributed ledger.

23. The computerized system of claim 22 wherein the compliance record, inspection record and completion record aggregate to define a digital memorialization of the construction project stored on the distributed ledger.
