Abstract

A racquet sports scoring system is provided. The scoring system uses a computerized display and input system to receive scoring changes. In many embodiments, the computerized interface is in communication with a database which records the score in real time, and also records scores of other concurrently-played matches. These match scores, and in some cases video of live matches played at other locations, can be viewed on the same computerized interface on which scores are recorded or on remote devices.

cause the display screen to move the score of the first of the two players to the second side of the screen and move the score of the second of the two players to the first side of the screen.

9. The tennis court of claim 1 further comprising a video camera in communication with the computer, the video camera operable to record the tennis game being played.

10. A tennis complex comprising a plurality of the tennis courts of claim 1 , each of the computers of each of the plurality of tennis courts in a networked communication with a server, the server operable to record the score of the first player and second player of each of the plurality of tennis courts, as well as the games won of the first player and second player of each of the plurality of tennis courts and store the scores and games won in a database stored in a memory of the server; and

wherein the plurality of scores displayed upon the receipt of the input to view scores of other matches are the scores recorded by the database of the scores played on each of the plurality of tennis courts recorded by the plurality of computers.

11. The tennis complex of claim 10 further comprising a video camera directed to each of the plurality of tennis courts, each video camera in networked communication with the database, a live feed accessible by each of the computers of each of the plurality of tennis courts to view a video feed from each of cameras.

12. A racquet-sports court comprising:

a court area; and
