Electronic cigarette
An electronic cigarette includes a shell and a mouthpiece. The external wall of the shell has an air inlet. An atomizer and a liquid-supply are in contact with each other. The air inlet, atomizer, and an aerosol passage are interconnected.
1. An electronic cigarette device, comprising:
a liquid container having a first end and a second end;
a mouthpiece attached onto the first end of the liquid container;
a nicotine solution liquid in the liquid container;
a retaining element on a side of the liquid container;
an atomizer including a porous body and a heating element in an atomization chamber, the heating element oriented perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the electronic cigarette device, the porous body in contact with the nicotine solution liquid in the liquid container, and the porous body providing the nicotine solution liquid from the liquid container to the heating element; and
an aerosol passageway extending from the atomizer towards the mouthpiece.
2. The electronic cigarette device of claim 1 with the second end of the liquid container adapted to be inserted into an opening in a first end of an elongated housing, with a first end of the mouthpiece contacting the first end of the elongated housing.
3. The electronic cigarette device of claim 2 with the retaining element holding the liquid container in the elongated housing.
4. The electronic cigarette device of claim 3 with the retaining element contacting an inside surface of the elongated housing.
5. The electronic cigarette device of claim 2 further including a battery, an electronic circuit board and a sensor in the elongated housing, with the battery electrically connectable to the heating element.
6. The electronic cigarette device of claim 1 further including a gas vent extending centrally from the liquid container into the mouthpiece.
7. The electronic cigarette device of claim 1 wherein the heating element comprises a metal wire.
8. The electronic cigarette device of claim 1 further including a housing and a digital display in the housing.
9. The electronic cigarette device of claim 1 with the porous body comprising a fiber material.
10. An electronic cigarette device, comprising:
a liquid container having a first end and a second end;
a nicotine solution liquid in the liquid container;
a retaining element on a side of the liquid container;
an atomizer including a porous body and a heating element in an atomization chamber, the heating element oriented perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the electronic cigarette device, the porous body in contact with the nicotine solution liquid in the liquid container, the porous body providing the nicotine solution liquid from the liquid container to the heating element; and
an aerosol passageway extending away from the atomizer, parallel to the longitudinal axis.
11. The electronic cigarette device of claim 10 further including a mouthpiece on the first end of the liquid container, and the aerosol passageway extending into the mouthpiece.
12. The electronic cigarette device of claim 10 wherein the porous body comprises a fiber material and the heating element comprises a metal wire.
