Abstract

A base station transmits transport blocks via a bandwidth part (BWP) of a first cell. A wireless device receives the transport blocks. A connection failure with the base station is detected. A radio link failure report indicating the connection failure is transmitted. The radio link failure report indicates: a cell identifier of the first cell; and a subcarrier spacing of the BWP.

Claims (77)

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a wireless device from a first base station, configuration parameters of a first cell comprising a bandwidth part (BWP);

detecting, by the wireless device, a connection failure associated with the first base station; and

transmitting, by the wireless device, a radio link failure report indicating the connection failure, wherein the radio link failure report indicates:

a cell identifier of the first cell; and

a subcarrier spacing of the BWP associated with the connection failure.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the radio link failure report further indicates a bandwidth of the BWP.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the configuration parameters are received, by the wireless device from the first base station, in a radio resource control message, wherein the configuration parameters comprise BWP configuration parameters of BWPs of the first cell, and wherein:

the BWPs comprises the BWP; and

the BWP configuration parameters comprise:

an index of the BWP;

a first parameter indicating a bandwidth of the BWP; and

a second parameter indicating the subcarrier spacing of the BWP.

4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the radio link failure report comprises:

the first parameter; and

the second parameter.

5. The method of claim 3 , wherein the radio resource control message comprises the cell identifier of the first cell.

6. The method of claim 3 , wherein the radio link failure report comprises at least one of:

a failure cause parameter indicating a cause of the connection failure;

a default BWP index of a default BWP of the BWPs; or

an initial BWP index of an initial BWP of the BWPs.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the BWP comprises at least one of:

a downlink BWP; or

an uplink BWP.

8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting the radio link failure report comprises transmitting the radio link failure report to a base station comprising at least one of:

the first base station; or

a second base station.

9. The method of claim 8 , further comprising:

selecting, by the wireless device and based on detecting the connection failure, a second cell of the base station;

performing, by the wireless device, a random access to the second cell; and

receiving, by the wireless device, an information request message requesting the radio link failure report.

10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the configuration parameters of the first cell are determined, by the first base station, based on the radio link failure report.

11. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive, from a first base station, configuration parameters of a first cell comprising a bandwidth part (BWP);

detect a connection failure associated with the first base station; and

transmit a radio link failure report indicating the connection failure, wherein the radio link failure report indicates:

a cell identifier of the first cell; and

a subcarrier spacing of the BWP associated with the connection failure.

12. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the radio link failure report further indicates a bandwidth of the BWP.

13. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the configuration parameters are received in a radio resource control message, wherein the configuration parameters comprise BWP configuration parameters of BWPs of the first cell, and wherein:

the BWPs comprises the BWP; and

the BWP configuration parameters comprise:

an index of the BWP;

a first parameter indicating a bandwidth of the BWP; and

a second parameter indicating the subcarrier spacing of the BWP.

14. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the radio link failure report comprises:

the first parameter; and

the second parameter.

15. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the radio resource control message comprises the cell identifier of the first cell.

16. The wireless device of claim 13 , wherein the radio link failure report comprises at least one of:

a failure cause parameter indicating a cause of the connection failure;

a default BWP index of a default BWP of the BWPs; or

an initial BWP index of an initial BWP of the BWPs.

17. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the BWP comprises at least one of:

a downlink BWP; or

an uplink BWP.

18. The wireless device of claim 11 , wherein the radio link failure report is transmitted to a base station comprising at least one of:

the first base station; or

a second base station.

19. The wireless device of claim 18 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the wireless device to:

select, based on detecting the connection failure, a second cell of the base station;

perform a random access to the second cell; and

receive an information request message requesting the radio link failure report.

20. A system comprising:

a base station comprising:

one or more first processors; and

first memory storing first instructions that, when executed by the one or more first processors, cause the base station to transmit configuration parameters of a first cell comprising a bandwidth part (BWP); and

a wireless device comprising:

one or more second processors; and

second memory storing second instructions that, when executed by the one or more second processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive the configuration parameters;

detect a connection failure associated with the base station; and

transmit a radio link failure report indicating the connection failure, wherein the radio link failure report indicates:

a cell identifier of the first cell; and

a subcarrier spacing of the BWP associated with the connection failure.
