TREATMENT OF ATOPIC DERMATITIS
Symptoms of atopic dermatitis in a human subject are reduced by administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition that includes a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a therapeutically effective amount of an agent that selectively binds IL-1α.

A method of reducing a symptom of atopic dermatitis in a human subject with atopic dermatitis, the method comprising the step of administering to the subject a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a therapeutically effective amount of an agent that selectively binds IL-1α at least until the symptom of atopic dermatitis in the subject is reduced.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the agent is an anti-IL-1α antibody.
13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein the anti-IL-1α antibody is a monoclonal antibody.
14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the monoclonal antibody is an IgG1.
15 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the monoclonal antibody comprises a complementarity determining region of bermekimab.
16 . The method of claim 13 , wherein the monoclonal antibody is bermekimab.
17 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom of atopic dermatitis is pruritis.
18 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the symptom of atopic dermatitis is pain.
