Abstract

Transaction and communication systems and methods are disclosed for vendors and promoters. Some embodiments disclosed herein provide a deal manager system comprising transaction data associated with the promotional activities of one or more promoters, such as promoters registered with the deal manager system. The deal manager system can process the transaction data and provide compensation to promoters for their promotional activities based at least partly thereon. In certain embodiments, at least a portion of the transaction data can be provided to one or more vendors. A vendor may direct that benefits or promotional material be provided to a subset of promoters based at least in part on the received transaction data. The deal manager system may include promoter contact information, and materials provided by the vendor may be conveyed by the deal manager system to certain promoters based on the same.

the at least one deal presenter system obtaining a current fare fee accumulated by the occupant of the FHV;

the at least one deal presenter system modifying a cost of the deal based at least in part on the current fare fee accumulated by the occupant of the FHV;

the at least one deal presenter displaying the deal with the modified cost to the occupant of the FHV on a display that is disposed within the FHV;

the at least one deal presenter system accepting input from the occupant of the FHV;

the at least one deal presenter system accepting payment from the occupant of the FHV; and

the at least one deal presenter system electronically communicating an acceptance of the deal to the deal manager system through the network.

2. The computer implemented method of claim 1 wherein accepting input from the occupant of the FHV comprises the at least one deal presenter system accepting contact information of the occupant of the FHV.

3. The method of claim 2 wherein the contact information comprises an email address.

7. The method of claim 6 wherein the email comprises indicia of a purchase of the deal.

8. The method of claim 1 further comprising after payment by the occupant for the deal, the deal manager system electronically communicating indicia of a sale of the deal to the vendor.

9. The method of claim 8 further comprising the deal manager system updating available inventory of the deal after a sale of the deal to the occupant.

10. The method of claim 1 further comprising the deal manager system sending updated deal information to the at least one deal presenter system which reflects a decreased available supply of deals when the occupant has purchased the deal.

11. The method of claim 1 wherein the deal manager system electronically communicating the deal to at least one deal presenter system comprises the deal manager system electronically communicating the deal to at least one deal presenter system based on a geographic location of the at least one deal presenter system.

12. The method of claim 1 wherein the deal manager system electronically communicates a plurality of deals to the at least one deal presenter system and wherein the at least one deal presenter system determines whether or not to present one or more of the deals to the occupant based at least in part on a current physical location of the at least one deal presenter system.

13. The method of claim 1 further comprising the vendor providing one or more predetermined criteria for presentation of the deal.

14. The method of claim 13 wherein the one or more predetermined criteria for presentation of the deal comprises a location where the occupant was picked up by the FHV.

15. The method of claim 13 wherein the one or more predetermined criteria for presentation of the deal comprises a drop off location where the occupant is to be dropped off by the FHV.

16. The method of claim 13 wherein the one or more predetermined criteria for presentation of the deal comprises a start and a stop time for when the deal may be presented or accepted.

17. The method of claim 1 further comprising the at least one deal presenter electronically communicating to edit a current trip sheet in response to the occupant purchasing the deal.

18. The method of claim 1 further comprising the at least one deal presenter system electronically communicating with a dispatch module of the FHV and based upon that electronic communication, the dispatch module causing a fare fee to be updated if the occupant accepts the deal.
