5. The sealant of claim 2 , wherein the copolymer composition includes 1 ppm to 5,000 ppm of the at least one LCST compound, wherein the copolymer composition has an ash content of 0.25 weight percent or less, as measured according to ASTM D 5667.

6. The sealant of claim 2 , wherein the copolymer composition comprises:

100 parts by weight of the copolymer;

0.0001 to 0.5 parts by weight of the at least one LCST compound;

zero, or from 0.0001 to 0.4 parts by weight of one or more non-LCST compounds;

zero, or from 0.005 to 0.3 parts by weight of antioxidants; and

0.005 to 1.5 parts by weight of volatiles having a boiling point at standard pressure of 200° C. or less.

7. The sealant of claim 6 , wherein the non-LCST compounds includes compounds selected from the group consisting of ionic or non-ionic surfactants, emulsifiers, and anti-agglomerants.

8. The sealant of claim 6 , wherein the non-LCST compounds includes salts of mono- or multivalent metal ions.

9. The sealant of claim 6 , wherein the non-LCST compounds includes carboxylic acid salts of multivalent metal ions.

10. The sealant of claim 6 , wherein the amount of the non-LCST compounds is zero.

11. The sealant of claim 10 , wherein the copolymer composition has an ash content of 0.25 weight percent or less, as measured according to ASTM D5667.
