10. A method for complying with regulations by tracking a communication between a receiving phone and a sending mobile device, the method comprising:

providing a server configured to send an email to an Enterprise Information Archiving system capable of archiving the email for at least one of eDiscovery and compliance with one or more regulations; and

with the server:

associating a virtual phone number with a mobile app residing on the sending mobile device;

receiving a communication intended for the receiving phone and originated from the mobile app residing on the sending mobile device; and

sending the communication to the receiving phone;

wherein the virtual number is shown as the originator of the communication; and

wherein the server is configured to include content from the communication in the email.

11. The method of claim 10 wherein the communication is routed through a virtual number provider, and wherein the virtual number provider and the server are on separate networks.
