Abstract

The present application discloses a light-emitting device comprises a semiconductor light-emitting element, a transparent element covering the semiconductor light-emitting element, an insulating layer which connects to the transparent element, an intermediate layer which connects to the insulating layer; and a conductive adhesive material connecting to the intermediate layer.

Claims (15)

1. A light-emitting device comprising:

a semiconductor light-emitting element;

a transparent element disposed on the semiconductor light-emitting element, and comprising a first outermost sidewall, a second outermost sidewall opposite to the first outermost sidewall and a top surface which comprises a concave portion, a first flat portion, and a second flat portion; and

an optical layer located on and within the concave portion,

wherein the first and second flat portions are separated from each other by the concave portion,

wherein the concave portion has a first subsection and a second subsection which have different widths and are not completely overlapped with each other,

wherein the first subsection is extended in a first direction from the first outermost sidewall to the second outermost sidewall, and

wherein the second subsection has a length and a width, the length is extended to cross the first subsection in a second direction parallel to the top surface and different from the first direction.

2. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the concave portion comprises a vertex angle.

3. The light-emitting device according to claim 2 , wherein the vertex angle is a right angle, an acute angle, or an obtuse angle.

4. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , further comprising a transparent support element located between the semiconductor light-emitting element and the transparent element.

5. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first and second flat portions do not have exactly the same shape.

6. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first flat portion has a first area, and the second flat portion has a second area, the first area is different from the second area.

7. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the first flat portion has a first area, and the second flat portion has a second area, the first area is the same as the second area.

8. The light-emitting device according to claim 1 , wherein the semiconductor light-emitting element is configured to emit a light which has a portion capable of passing through the optical layer.
