Abstract

Systems and methods of use for continuous analyte measurement of a host's vascular system are provided. In some embodiments, a continuous glucose measurement system includes a vascular access device, a sensor and sensor electronics, the system being configured for insertion into communication with a host's circulatory system.

19 . A system for measuring an analyte concentration in a host, the system comprising:

a transcutaneous analyte sensor; and

sensor electronics configured to operatively connect to the transcutaneous analyte sensor.

20 . A method for processing data from a transcutaneous analyte sensor, the method comprising:

receiving sensor data indicative of an analyte concentration in the host; and

processing, using a processor, the sensor data.
