Transmit control in multicarrier communications
Methods, apparatuses, and systems are described for wireless communications. Cells may be grouped into a plurality of cell groups. A wireless device may transmit or drop one or more of a plurality of signals.
1. A method comprising:
transmitting, by a wireless device via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, a packet, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is configured for more than one cell group, transmitting the SRS.
2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, by the wireless device, at least one message comprising configuration parameters of:
a plurality of cells comprising the first cell and the second cell; and
the SRS.
3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting the SRS is further based on a determination that a random access preamble is not configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting the SRS comprises transmitting the SRS after one or more of:
receiving a physical downlink control channel packet; or
receiving a radio resource control message.
6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising prioritizing the transmitting the SRS lower than:
a transmission of a random access preamble; and
the transmitting the packet.
7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
9. The method of claim 1 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS partially overlaps with the packet.
10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS fully overlaps with the packet.
11. A method comprising:
transmitting, by a wireless device, a packet via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is not configured for more than one cell group, dropping the scheduled transmission of the SRS.
12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising:
receiving, by the wireless device, at least one message comprising configuration parameters of:
a plurality of cells comprising the first cell and the second cell; and
the SRS.
13. The method of claim 11 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
14. The method of claim 11 , wherein the dropping the scheduled transmission of the SRS is further based on a determination that a random access preamble is configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
15. The method of claim 11 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS comprises a scheduled transmission of the SRS after one or more of:
receiving a physical downlink control channel packet; or
receiving a radio resource control message.
16. The method of claim 11 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
17. The method of claim 11 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
18. The method of claim 11 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS partially overlaps with the packet.
19. The method of claim 11 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS fully overlaps with the packet.
20. A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to:
transmit, via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, a packet, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is configured for more than one cell group, transmit the SRS.
21. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the wireless device to receive at least one message comprising configuration parameters of:
a plurality of cells comprising the first cell and the second cell; and
the SRS.
22. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
23. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to transmit the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is not configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
24. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to transmit the SRS after one or more of:
receiving a physical downlink control channel packet; or
receiving a radio resource control message.
25. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the wireless device to prioritize transmitting the SRS lower than:
a transmission of a random access preamble; and
a transmission of the packet.
26. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
27. The wireless device of claim 20 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
28. A wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to:
transmit, a packet via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is not configured for more than one cell group, drop the scheduled transmission of the SRS.
29. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further configure the wireless device to receive at least one message comprising configuration parameters of:
a plurality of cells comprising the first cell and the second cell; and
the SRS.
30. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
31. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, configure the wireless device to drop the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
32. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS comprises a scheduled transmission of the SRS after one or more of:
receiving a physical downlink control channel packet; or
receiving a radio resource control message.
33. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
34. The wireless device of claim 28 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
35. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
transmit, via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, a packet, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is configured for more than one cell group, transmit the SRS.
36. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
37. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to transmit the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is not configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
38. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the instructions, when executed, further configure the wireless device to prioritize transmitting the SRS lower than:
a transmission of a random access preamble; and
transmitting the packet.
39. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
40. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
41. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 35 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS at least partially overlaps with the packet.
42. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed, configure a wireless device to:
transmit a packet via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is not configured for more than one cell group, drop the scheduled transmission of the SRS.
43. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 42 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
44. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 42 , wherein the instructions, when executed, configure the wireless device to drop the scheduled transmission of the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
45. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 42 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
46. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 42 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
47. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 42 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS at least partially overlaps with the packet.
48. A system comprising:
a wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions; and
a base station comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions,
wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the wireless device, when executed by the one or more processors of the wireless device, configure the wireless device to:
transmit, via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, a packet, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is configured for more than one cell group, transmit the SRS, and
wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the base station, when executed by the one or more processors of the base station, configure the base station to receive the packet via the first cell.
49. The system of claim 48 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
50. The system of claim 48 , wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the wireless device, when executed by the one or more processors of the wireless device, configure the wireless device to transmit the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is not configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
51. The system of claim 48 , wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the wireless device, when executed by the one or more processors of the wireless device, further configure the wireless device to prioritize transmitting the SRS lower than:
a transmission of a random access preamble; and
transmitting the packet.
52. The system of claim 48 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
53. The system of claim 48 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
54. The system of claim 48 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS at least partially overlaps with the packet.
55. A system comprising:
a wireless device comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions; and
a base station comprising:
one or more processors; and
memory storing instructions,
wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the wireless device, when executed by the one or more processors of the wireless device, configure the wireless device to:
transmit a packet via a plurality of symbols of a time interval and via a first cell of a cell group, wherein:
the plurality of symbols of the time interval comprises a last symbol of the time interval; and
a scheduled transmission of a sounding reference signal (SRS), in the last symbol of the time interval, overlaps in time with the packet, wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS is via a second cell of the cell group; and
based on determining that the wireless device is not configured for more than one cell group, drop the scheduled transmission of the SRS, and
wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the base station, when executed by the one or more processors of the base station, configure the base station to receive the packet via the first cell.
56. The system of claim 55 , wherein the wireless device has sufficient power to transmit the SRS overlapping in time with the packet.
57. The system of claim 55 , wherein the instructions stored in the memory of the wireless device, when executed by the one or more processors of the wireless device, configure the wireless device to drop the scheduled transmission of the SRS further based on a determination that a random access preamble is configured for transmissions in one or more symbols comprising the last symbol of the time interval.
58. The system of claim 55 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink control channel packet.
59. The system of claim 55 , wherein the packet comprises a physical uplink shared channel packet.
60. The system of claim 55 , wherein the scheduled transmission of the SRS at least partially overlaps with the packet.
