Health-Related Product Discount System and Method

1 . A computer-implemented method, executed on a computing device, comprising:

enabling a user to make one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs;

generating tracking information concerning these one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs; and

enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information.

2 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 further comprising:

identifying a portion of the one or more health-related product costs for one or more target organizations, thus defining one or more donation portions.

3 . The computer-implemented method of claim 2 further comprising:

providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

4 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more of:

charitable organizations;

non-profit organizations; and

educational organization.

5 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 wherein providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations includes:

anonymously providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

6 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more user-defined target organizations.

7 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more platform-defined, target organizations.

8 . The computer-implemented method of claim 3 wherein the one or more donation portions is one or more of:

one or more fixed amounts that is based upon one or more tiers defined for the one or more health-related products; and

one or more percentages of the one or more health-related product costs.

9 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein the tracking information includes one or more of:

usage information;

purchase information;

spend information;

savings information;

plan deductible information;

donation information; and

tax information.

10 . The computer-implemented method of claim 1 wherein enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information includes one or more of:

enabling the user to download at least a portion of the tracking information;

enabling the user to view at least a portion of the tracking information; and

providing the user with at least a portion of the tracking information.

11 . A computer program product residing on a computer readable medium having a plurality of instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

enabling a user to make one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs;

generating tracking information concerning these one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs; and

enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information.

12 . The computer program product of claim 11 further comprising:

identifying a portion of the one or more health-related product costs for one or more target organizations, thus defining one or more donation portions.

13 . The computer program product of claim 12 further comprising:

providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

14 . The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more of:

charitable organizations;

non-profit organizations; and

educational organization.

15 . The computer program product of claim 13 wherein providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations includes:

anonymously providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

16 . The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more user-defined target organizations.

17 . The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more platform-defined, target organizations.

18 . The computer program product of claim 13 wherein the one or more donation portions is one or more of:

one or more fixed amounts that is based upon one or more tiers defined for the one or more health-related products; and

one or more percentages of the one or more health-related product costs.

19 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein the tracking information includes one or more of:

usage information;

purchase information;

spend information;

savings information;

plan deductible information;

donation information; and

tax information.

20 . The computer program product of claim 11 wherein enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information includes one or more of:

enabling the user to download at least a portion of the tracking information;

enabling the user to view at least a portion of the tracking information; and

providing the user with at least a portion of the tracking information.

21 . A computing system including a processor and memory configured to perform operations comprising:

enabling a user to make one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs;

generating tracking information concerning these one or more purchases of one or more health-related products from one or more providers at one or more health-related product costs; and

enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information.

22 . The computing system of claim 21 further comprising:

identifying a portion of the one or more health-related product costs for one or more target organizations, thus defining one or more donation portions.

23 . The computing system of claim 22 further comprising:

providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

24 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more target organizations include includes one or more of:

charitable organizations;

non-profit organizations; and

educational organization.

25 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations includes:

anonymously providing the one or more donation portions to the one or more target organizations.

26 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more user-defined target organizations.

27 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more target organizations includes one or more platform-defined, target organizations.

28 . The computing system of claim 23 wherein the one or more donation portions is one or more of:

one or more fixed amounts that is based upon one or more tiers defined for the one or more health-related products; and

one or more percentages of the one or more health-related product costs.

29 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein the tracking information includes one or more of:

usage information;

purchase information;

spend information;

savings information;

plan deductible information;

donation information; and

tax information.

30 . The computing system of claim 21 wherein enabling the user to obtain at least a portion of the tracking information includes one or more of:

enabling the user to download at least a portion of the tracking information;

enabling the user to view at least a portion of the tracking information; and

providing the user with at least a portion of the tracking information.
