Abstract

Methods are disclosed for displaying a health status on a user-worn or carried device comprising of disposing a magnet within a housing of the user-worn or carried device, configured to detect a magnetic field supercutaneously, wherein the field is generated by an interaction of the magnet with magnetic nanoparticles of a delivery agent delivering a therapeutic or vaccine intravenously, converting the detected magnetic field into a field-specific electrical signal and outputting at least one of a pre-defined color, symbol, or audio-coded display on a display portion of the user-worn or carried device signaling the user health status based on the converted field-specific electrical signal.

Claims (29)

1 . A method for displaying a health status on a user-worn or carried device, said method comprising the steps of:

disposing a magnet within a housing of the user-worn or carried device, configured to detect a magnetic field supercutaneously, wherein said field is generated by an interaction of the magnet with magnetic nanoparticles of a delivery agent delivering a therapeutic or vaccine intravenously;

converting the detected magnetic field into a field-specific electrical signal; and

outputting at least one of a pre-defined color, symbol, or audio-coded display on a display portion of the user-worn or carried device signaling the user health status based on the converted field-specific electrical signal.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the converted field-specific electrical signal registers a user health status on a local or wide registry for contact tracing purposes.

3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the detection and conversion of the magnetic field occurs at a fixed access point.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the user-worn or carried device is a line-of-sight (LoS) device or a circle-of-sight (CoS) device.

5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the LoS device is any one of a badge, smart watch, mobile device, fixed access point or terminal, hand-held scanner, locket housing a watch, clip-on element, or arm-band.

6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the CoS device is any one of a fixed access point or terminal, ear buds, over the ear head phones, clip-on element, or arm-band.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the outputted color and/or symbol-coded visual display signals a positive status with at least a portion of the display with any color within a green-scale.

8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the outputted color and/or symbol-coded visual display signals a negative or inconclusive status with at least a portion of the display with any color within a red-scale.

9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the pre-defined audio output is delivered at the exclusion of a color and/or symbol display.

10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the detection and conversion results in a single-blind visual display that is a color and/or symbol-coded display unique to a business operator or venue gate-keeper based on an operator or gate-keeper-defined protocol.

11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the magnetic nano-particle is iron oxide.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the iron oxide nano-particle is further coated with specific cationic properties for corresponding therapeutic/vaccine detection.

13 . The method of claim 12 , wherein concentrations of iron oxide and/or cationic properties are determined by detection with corresponding display output intensity.

14 . The method of claim 13 , wherein concentrations of iron oxide and/or cationic properties detected determine a real-time pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic state of the therapeutic/vaccine.

15 . A method for displaying a health status on a user-worn or carried device, said method comprising the steps of:

disposing a magnet within a housing, configured to detect a magnetic field supercutaneously, wherein said field is generated by an interaction of the magnet with magnetic nanoparticles of a delivery agent delivering a therapeutic or vaccine intravenously;

coupling the magnetic housing physically or wirelessly to a user-worn or carried device;

converting the detected magnetic field into a field-specific electrical signal; and

outputting at least one of a pre-defined color, symbol, or audio-coded display on a display portion of the user-worn or carried device signaling the user health status based on the converted field-specific electrical signal.

16 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the magnetic nano-particle is iron oxide.

17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the iron oxide nano-particle is further coated with specific cationic properties for corresponding therapeutic/vaccine detection.

18 . The method of claim 17 , wherein concentrations of iron oxide and/or cationic properties are determined by detection with corresponding display output intensity.

19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein concentrations of iron oxide and/or cationic properties detected determine a real-time pharmacokinetic or pharmacodynamic state of the therapeutic/vaccine.

20 . A method for displaying a health status on a user-worn or carried device, said method comprising the steps of:

disposing a magnet within a housing, configured to detect a magnetic field supercutaneously, wherein said field is generated by an interaction of the magnet with magnetic nanoparticles of a delivery agent delivering a therapeutic or vaccine intravenously; and

outputting an audible output from an audio output portion of the magnetic housing based on the detection of the magnetic interaction, wherein the audible output signals the user health status.
