Abstract

There is provided an information processing apparatus including a travelable information display unit that displays before a discharge, regarding motor-driven movable bodies of a discharge source and a discharge destination driven by using electric power of batteries, information about places to which the motor-driven movable body of the discharge source can move using electric power of the battery left after the discharge by assuming, when information about a discharge amount discharged from the battery of the motor-driven movable body of the discharge source toward the motor-driven movable body of the discharge destination that receives power supply is input, a case in which the discharge amount is discharged from the battery.

Claims (31)

1. An information processing apparatus, comprising:

circuitry comprising a processor coupled to a memory and configured to:

set a discharge amount of at least one first battery of a discharge source that is discharged to at least one second battery of a discharge destination, the discharge source being configured to be driven by using electric power of the at least one first battery; and

cause discharge of the discharge source by the discharge amount to the discharge destination,

wherein the discharge amount is determined such that a remaining electric power of the at least one first battery after discharging the discharge amount is sufficient to travel at least a predetermined distance, and

wherein the discharge source is a vehicle and the discharge destination is a charging facility.

2. The information processing device of claim 1 , wherein discharge by the discharge source of the discharge amount is performed based on a user input.

3. The information processing device of claim 2 , wherein the user input specifies a charging place that can at least be reached by the vehicle after discharge of the discharge amount.

4. The information processing device of claim 3 , wherein the charging place is within the predetermined distance from the vehicle.

5. The information processing device of claim 1 , wherein the discharge source has a biometric authentication sensor configured to read biometric information about a user of the discharge source and to authenticate the user.

6. The information processing device of claim 5 , wherein the biometric authentication sensor reads information about at least one of a fingerprint, a finger vein, and a retina.

7. The information processing device of claim 6 , wherein the discharge source is configured to accept the user input to start discharge after authentication is successful.

8. A method for discharging a discharge source to a discharge destination, comprising:

setting a discharge amount of at least one first battery of the discharge source that is discharged to at least one second battery of the discharge destination, the discharge source being configured to be driven by using electric power of the at least one first battery; and

causing discharge of the discharge source by the discharge amount to the discharge destination,

wherein the discharge amount is determined such that a remaining electric power of the at least one first battery after discharging the discharge amount is sufficient to travel at least a predetermined distance, and

wherein the discharge source is a vehicle and the discharge destination is a charging facility.

9. The method of claim 8 , wherein discharge by the discharge source of the discharge amount is performed based on a user input.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the user input specifies a charging place that can at least be reached by the vehicle after discharge of the discharge amount.

11. The method of claim 10 , wherein the charging place is within the predetermined distance from the vehicle.

12. The method of claim 8 , wherein the discharge source has a biometric authentication sensor configured to read biometric information about a user of the discharge source and to authenticate the user.

13. The method of claim 12 , wherein the biometric authentication sensor reads information about at least one of a fingerprint, a finger vein, and a retina.

14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the discharge source is configured to accept the user input to start discharge after authentication is successful.

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer instructions for causing a processor to:

set a discharge amount of at least one first battery of a discharge source that is discharged to at least one second battery of a discharge destination, the discharge source being configured to be driven by using electric power of the at least one first battery; and

cause discharge of the discharge source by the discharge amount to the discharge destination,

wherein the discharge amount is determined such that a remaining electric power of the at least one first battery after discharging the discharge amount is sufficient to travel at least a predetermined distance, and

wherein the discharge source is a vehicle and the discharge destination is a charging facility.

16. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein discharge by the discharge source of the discharge amount is performed based on a user input.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the user input specifies a charging place that can at least be reached by the vehicle after discharge of the discharge amount.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the charging place is within the predetermined distance from the vehicle.
