Abstract

A print system includes: a moving body supporting a can body and moving; an upper moving route extending in a lateral direction, which is taken by the moving body when moving in one direction; a lower moving route positioned below the upper moving route, which extends in the lateral direction and is taken by the moving body when moving in a direction opposite to the one direction; and an image forming unit performing image formation onto the can body supported by the moving body. In comparison between the orientation of the moving body while the moving body is positioned on the upper moving route and the orientation of the moving body while the moving body is positioned on the lower moving route, the moving body is turned upside down.

Claims (20)

1 . A print system comprising:

a moving body supporting a can body and moving;

an upper moving route extending in a lateral direction, which the moving body travels when the moving body moves in one direction;

a lower moving route positioned below the upper moving route and extending in the lateral direction, which the moving body travels when the moving body moves in a direction opposite to the one direction; and

an image forming unit performing image formation onto the can body supported by the moving body, wherein,

when orientation of the moving body while the moving body is located on the upper moving route and orientation of the moving body while the moving body is located on the lower moving route are compared, the moving body is turned upside down.

2 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein a moving route, which the moving body travels, is formed annularly, and is provided with the upper moving route and the lower moving route as part of the annular moving route.

3 . The print system according to claim 2 , further comprising:

a guidance part provided along the annular moving route and guiding the moving body, wherein

the moving body comprises a guided part to be guided by the guidance part and a can body support part to be inserted into the can body to support the can body,

the can body support part is positioned above the guided part while the moving body is located on the upper moving route, and

the can body support part is positioned below the guided part while the moving body is located on the lower moving route.

4 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of processing units is provided below the lower moving route, the processing units being arranged in line along an extending direction of the lower moving route and performing processing on the can body.

5 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of processing units is provided above the upper moving route, the processing units being arranged in line along an extending direction of the upper moving route and performing processing on the can body.

6 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein the image formation onto the can body supported by the moving body is performed by the image forming unit while the moving body is located on the upper moving route or the lower moving route.

7 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein the upper moving route and the lower moving route are disposed in parallel with each other.

8 . The print system according to claim 7 , wherein, when the upper moving route and the lower moving route are projected downward in a vertical direction, the upper moving route and the lower moving route overlap each other.

9 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein a processing unit performing processing on the can body supported by the moving body is provided on each of both lateral sides of the upper moving route and the lower moving route.

10 . The print system according to claim 2 , wherein the annular moving route is disposed on a plane extending along a vertical direction.

11 . The print system according to claim 1 , wherein the upper moving route and the lower moving route are formed linearly.
