Abstract

A drainage system ( 1 ) comprising: at least one water receiving unit ( 20 ) having: a water receptacle ( 22 ) for receiving water from an adjoining surface; a first neck piece ( 24 ) which can be connected to the water receptacle ( 22 ) and provided such that water can flow out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) through an opening ( 26 ) of the first neck piece ( 24 ); and at least one water drainage unit ( 40 ) for draining the water, comprising: a pipe body ( 42 ); and a first opening ( 46 b ), provided on the pipe body ( 42 ), for receiving the water in said pipe body ( 42 ); wherein: the water drainage unit ( 40 ) can be provided and oriented under the surface such j that the opening ( 26 ) of the first neck piece ( 24 ) and the first opening ( 46 b ) of the pipe body ( 42 ) can be connected and the water flowing out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) can flow into the water drainage unit ( 40 ). Also disclosed are drainage units and methods.

Claims (110)

1 . A drainage system ( 1 ) comprising:

at least one water receiving unit ( 20 ), comprising:

a water receptacle ( 22 ) for receiving water from an adjoining surface; and

a first neck piece ( 24 ) connected to the water receptacle ( 22 ) and positionable to allow water to flow out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) through an opening ( 26 ) of the first neck piece ( 24 ); and

at least one water discharge unit ( 40 ) for discharging the water, comprising:

a tubular body ( 42 ); and

a first opening ( 46 b ) which is arranged on the tubular body ( 42 ) for receiving the water into the tubular body ( 42 );

wherein:

the water discharge unit ( 40 ) can be arranged and aligned below the surface in such a way that the opening ( 26 ) of the first neck piece ( 24 ) and the first opening ( 46 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) can be connected and the water flowing out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) can flow into the water discharge unit ( 40 ).

2 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein:

the water receptacle ( 22 ) is configured as point drainage system; or

the water receptacle ( 22 ) is configured as a linear drainage system; or

the water receptacle ( 22 ) has a first end ( 22 a ) and a second end ( 22 b ) arranged face-to-face and comprising connecting means and/or latching means, such that the first end ( 22 a ) of the water receptacle ( 22 ) and the second end ( 22 b ) of another water receptacle ( 22 ) can be connected and/or latched together; or

the first end ( 22 a ) and the second end ( 22 b ) of the water receptacle ( 22 ) are identical or complementary to each other; or

the water receptacle ( 22 ) and/or the surface comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the water receptacle ( 22 ) and the first neck piece ( 24 ) are formed integrally; or

the water receptacle ( 22 ) and/or the first neck piece ( 24 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof.

3 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 wherein:

the water receiving unit ( 20 ) comprises at least a second neck piece ( 24 ) or more connected to the water receptacle ( 22 ) and positionable to allow water to flow out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) through an opening ( 26 ) of the second neck piece ( 24 ); or

the water drainage unit ( 40 ) comprises a second opening ( 46 b ) which is arranged along the tubular body ( 42 ) with the first opening ( 46 b ) for receiving the water into the tubular body ( 42 ).

4 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , wherein:

the tubular body ( 42 ) is dimensioned for loading at the surface, taking into account its distance from the surface and/or its condition; or

the tubular body ( 42 ) has a first end ( 44 a ) and a second end ( 44 b ) arranged face-to-face and comprising connecting means and/or latching means, such that the first end ( 44 a ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) and the second end ( 44 b ) of another tubular body ( 42 ) can be connected and/or latched together; or

the first end ( 44 a ) and the second end ( 44 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) are identical or complementary to each other; or

the first end ( 44 a ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) is formed as a socket end and the second end ( 44 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) is formed as a tip end; or

the socket end comprises latching elements, insertion elements, or insertion elements with a startup bevel, which are arranged along a circumference of the tubular body ( 42 ), and the tip end comprises latching regions arranged along the circumference of the tubular body ( 42 ); or

the tubular body ( 42 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof; or

the tubular body ( 42 ) may have a round, oval, triangular, square, pentagonal, hexagonal, rectangular, or square cross-section; or

the tubular body ( 42 ) is formed by a channel member ( 49 a ) and a cover member ( 49 b ) having the first opening ( 46 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ); or

the tubular body ( 42 ) is formed by a first half-shell body ( 42 a ) and a second half-shell body ( 42 b ) having the first opening ( 46 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ).

5 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 4 , wherein:

the first half-shell body ( 42 a ) and the second half-shell body ( 42 b ) are substantially identical; or

at least one area for producing the first opening ( 46 b ) or in which the first opening is already produced is provided on the first half-shell body ( 42 a ) or the second half-shell body ( 42 b ); or

edge regions of the first half-shell body ( 42 a ) or the second half-shell body ( 42 b ) are formed in such a way that they can be stacked inside one another and/or on top of one another; or

the edge regions of the first half-shell body ( 42 a ) or the second half-shell body ( 42 b ) have inwardly projecting beads, tapering beads, converging beads, and/or conical beads; or

the first half-shell body ( 42 a ) and the second half-shell body ( 42 b ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they may be connected and/or latched together.

6 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one cover unit ( 10 ) for covering the water receiving unit ( 20 ).

7 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 6 , wherein:

the cover unit ( 10 ) has a first end ( 10 a ) and a second end ( 10 b ) arranged face-to-face and comprising connecting means and/or latching means, such that the first end ( 10 a ) of the cover unit ( 10 ) and the second end ( 10 b ) of another cover unit ( 10 ) can be connected and/or latched together; or

the first end ( 10 a ) and the second end ( 10 b ) of the cover unit ( 10 ) are identical or complementary to each other; or

the cover unit ( 10 ) has at least one opening ( 12 ) for letting the water through; or

the cover unit ( 10 ) comprises at least one rib ( 14 ) for guiding the water and/or for stabilizing the water receptacle ( 22 ); or

the cover unit ( 10 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof; or

the cover unit ( 10 ) and/or the water receiving unit ( 20 ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the water receiving unit ( 20 ) comprises a latching element ( 29 ) and the cover unit ( 10 ) comprises a latching area ( 19 ).

8 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one water feeding unit ( 30 ) for feeding the water from the water receiving unit ( 20 ) into the water discharge unit ( 40 );

wherein

the water feeding unit ( 30 ) can be arranged and aligned between the water receiving unit ( 20 ) and the water discharge unit ( 40 ) such that the opening ( 26 ) of the first neck piece ( 24 ) can be connected to a first opening ( 32 ) of the water feeding unit ( 30 ) and the first opening ( 46 b ) of the tubular body ( 42 ) can be connected to a second opening ( 34 ) of the water feeding unit ( 30 ), and the water flowing out of the water receiving unit ( 20 ) can flow through the water feeding unit ( 30 ) into the water discharge unit ( 40 ).

9 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 8 , wherein:

the water feeding unit ( 30 ) is adjustable in height, telescopic, or folded in a concertina-like manner; or

the water feeding unit ( 30 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof.

10 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one supporting unit ( 60 ) for supporting the water discharge unit ( 40 ).

11 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 9 , wherein:

the cover unit ( 60 ) and/or the water discharge unit ( 40 ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) is configured such that it can be stacked with other supporting units; or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) is configured in one piece; or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) is configured in multiple pieces; or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) comprises a first bearing member ( 66 a ) and a second bearing member ( 66 b ) for receiving the water drainage unit ( 40 ); wherein: the first bearing member ( 66 a ) and/or the second bearing member ( 66 b ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means so that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the first bearing element ( 66 a ) may be configured as a first side element and the second bearing element ( 66 b ) may be configured as a second side element; or

the first bearing element ( 66 a ) and the second bearing element ( 66 b ) can be manufactured in one piece and/or separated from each other; or

the first bearing element ( 66 a ) and the second bearing element ( 66 b ) may be complementary or mirror images of each other; or

the connecting means and/or latching means of the first bearing element ( 66 a ) and the second bearing element ( 66 b ) may be configured as a first connecting element ( 68 a ) and a second connecting element ( 68 b ), wherein:

the first connecting element ( 68 a ) can be arranged and manufactured within the first bearing element ( 66 a ) and the second connecting element ( 68 b ) can be arranged and manufactured within the second bearing element ( 66 b ) to save space; or

the first bearing element ( 66 a ) can have at least one first receiving area for releasably or non-releasably receiving the first connecting element ( 68 a ) and/or the second bearing element ( 66 b ) can have at least one second receiving area for releasably or non-releasably receiving the second connecting element ( 68 b ); or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) and the water drainage unit ( 40 ) are formed integrally; or

the supporting unit ( 60 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof.

12 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one alignment unit ( 70 ) for aligning or fixing the water receiving unit ( 20 ).

13 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 12 , wherein:

the alignment unit ( 70 ) and/or the water receiving unit ( 20 ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the alignment unit ( 70 ) comprises metal polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof.

14 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) for discharging the water, comprising:

another tubular body ( 42 ′); and

a first opening ( 46 b ) which is arranged on the other tubular body ( 42 ′) for receiving the water into the other tubular body ( 42 ′);

another opening ( 46 b ′), arranged along the other tubular body ( 42 ′) opposite the first opening ( 46 b ), for passing the water into the water discharge unit ( 40 ); and

at least one spacer and/or at least one water passage unit ( 50 ) for passing at least part of the water from the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) into the water discharge unit ( 40 );

wherein

the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) can be arranged and aligned between the water receiving unit ( 20 ) and the water discharge unit ( 40 ), such that the water can be passed from the water receiving unit ( 20 ) to the water discharge unit ( 40 ); and

the water passage unit ( 50 ) can be arranged and aligned between the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) and the water discharge unit ( 40 ) in such a way that the water can continue to flow from the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) into the water discharge unit ( 40 ).

15 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 14 , wherein:

the water receiving unit ( 20 ) and/or the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the other water discharge unit ( 40 a ) and/or the water passage unit ( 50 ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the other tubular body ( 42 ′) is dimensioned for loading at the surface, taking into account its distance from the surface and/or its condition; or

the other tubular body ( 42 ′) has a first end and a second end which are arranged face-to-face and comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that the first end of the other tubular body ( 42 ′) and the second end of another tubular body ( 42 ′) can be connected and/or latched together; or

the first end and the second end of the further tubular body ( 42 ′) are identical or complementary to each other; or

the other tubular body ( 42 ′) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof; or

the other tubular body ( 42 ′) is formed by a third half-shell body ( 42 b ′) having the first opening ( 46 b ) of the other tubular body ( 42 ′) and a fourth half-shell body ( 42 b ′) having the other opening ( 46 b ′) of the other tubular body ( 42 ′); or

the third half-shell body ( 42 b ′) and the fourth half-shell body ( 42 b ′) are substantially identical; or

at least one area for producing the first opening ( 46 b ) or the other opening ( 46 b ′) of the other tube body ( 42 ′) or in which the first opening ( 46 b ) and/or the other opening ( 46 b ′) are already produced is provided on the third half-shell body ( 42 b ′) or the fourth half-shell body ( 42 b ′); or

edge regions of the third half-shell body ( 42 b ′) or the fourth half-shell body ( 42 b ′) are formed in such a way that they can be stacked inside one another and/or on top of one another; or

the edge portions of the third half-shell body ( 42 b ′) or the fourth half-shell body ( 42 b ′) have inwardly projecting beads, tapering beads, converging beads and/or conical beads; or

the third half-shell body 42 b and the fourth half-shell body 42 b may comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they may be connected and/or latched together; or

the water passage unit ( 50 ) and/or the water discharge unit ( 40 ) comprise connecting means and/or latching means, such that they can be connected and/or latched together; or

the water passage unit ( 50 ) comprises metal, concrete, polymer concrete or plastic, or a combination thereof.

16 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one cavity for storing the water flowing from the water discharge unit ( 40 ).

17 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 16 , wherein:

the cavity is formed by a water-permeable material or geotextile material; or

the cavity comprises a highly absorbent material or a water-absorbent material; or

the cavity is connected to the water absorption unit ( 20 ), the water feeding unit ( 30 ), the water drainage unit ( 40 ) and/or the water passage unit ( 50 ).

18 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 1 , further comprising:

at least one cast body unit ( 80 ) for receiving the drainage system ( 1 ).

19 . The drainage system ( 1 ) according to claim 18 , wherein:

the cast body unit ( 80 ) is prefabricated with the drainage system ( 1 ); or

the cast body unit ( 80 ) comprises metal, plastic, composite, concrete, polymer concrete, normal concrete, reinforced concrete, or asphalt concrete, or a combination thereof.
