Abstract

A communication apparatus includes a control unit configured to measure a terminal-specific reference signal transmitted in a radio resource allocated for each terminal apparatus in units of the radio resource and transmits information indicating a measurement result.

Claims (65)

1. A communication method comprising:

measuring, by a controller of a communication apparatus, a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS);

transmitting, by the controller, information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal,

wherein the controller transmits the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band, and

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report; and

receiving, by the controller, capability information regarding the reference signal.

2. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the capability information includes at least one of support of a UE-specific uplink CSI-RS, support of FD-MIMO, support of a UE-specific uplink CSI-RS, or the number of antenna ports to be used for transmission of the reference signal.

3. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is used for transmission beamforming.

4. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the controller transmits the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource included in the sub-band as the information indicating the measurement result in units of the sub-band.

5. The communication method according to claim 1 , wherein information indicating reception strength of the reference signal is included in a measurement report.

6. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the communication apparatus is a terminal apparatus.

7. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the controller receives the channel state report using a physical uplink control channel.

8. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the communication apparatus is a base station.

9. The communication method according to claim 8 ,

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a recommended value of a weighting matrix to be used for uplink transmission.

10. The communication method according to claim 1 ,

wherein the capability information includes support of a UE-specific uplink CSI-RS.

11. A communication method comprising:

measuring, by a controller of a communication apparatus, a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS);

receiving, by the controller, information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal,

wherein the controller receives the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band, and

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report; and

transmitting, by the controller, capability information regarding the reference signal.

12. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the capability information includes at least one of support of a UE-specific uplink CSI-RS, support of FD-MIMO, support of a UE-specific uplink CSI-RS, or the number of antenna ports to be used for transmission of the reference signal.

13. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the controller allocates the radio resource for receiving the reference signal, to another communication apparatus in a radio resource control (RRC) connected state.

14. The communication method according to claim 11 , further comprising receiving information indicating an operation mode that includes a channel state information (CSI) reporting mode.

15. The communication method according to claim 11 , further comprising receiving information indicating an operation mode that includes a transmission mode.

16. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the controller transmits downlink control information including information indicating transmission of the reference signal.

17. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the controller transmits downlink control information including a number of antenna ports used for transmission of the reference signal.

18. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the controller transmits configuration information of the reference signal.

19. The communication method according to claim 11 ,

wherein the controller receives downlink control information including information requesting transmission of the reference signal.

20. A communication apparatus comprising:

a controller configured to measure a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, and transmit information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS),

wherein the controller transmits the information indicating the measurement result in units of a radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band,

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report, and

wherein the controller is configured to receive capability information regarding the reference signal.

21. A communication apparatus comprising:

a controller configured to measure a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, and receive information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS),

wherein the controller receives the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band,

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report, and

wherein the controller is configured to transmit capability information regarding the reference signal.

22. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon, which when executed by processing circuitry, cause the processing circuitry to execute a method, the method comprising:

measuring, by a controller of a communication apparatus, a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS);

transmitting, by the controller, information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal,

wherein the controller transmits the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band, and

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report; and

receiving, by the controller, capability information regarding the reference signal.

23. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions thereon, which when executed by processing circuitry, cause the processing circuitry to execute a method, the method comprising:

measuring, by a controller of a communication apparatus, a reference signal transmitted in a radio resource in units of the radio resource, wherein the reference signal is sounding reference signals (RS);

receiving, by the controller, information indicating a measurement result of the reference signal,

wherein the controller receives the information indicating the measurement result in units of the radio resource as information indicating the measurement result in units of a sub-band, and

wherein the information indicating the measurement result is a channel state report; and

transmitting, by the controller, capability information regarding the reference signal.
