Abstract

An electronic apparatus that enables a user to easily recognize continuous shooting timing. The electronic apparatus controls to light an item during performing an exposure processing, accept an instruction for performing a continuous shooting, and control not to start to light the item when the exposure processing starts before a lapse of a predetermined lighting-off period from lighting off the item last time, while accepting the instruction for performing the continuous shooting.

9. The electronic apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit controls to set the display time period to be shorter in length than the exposure time so that the non-display time period is equal to the second predetermined length, in a case where a period from an exposure time of a single shooting until next exposure time during the continuous shooting is shorter than the second predetermined length even if the length of the exposure time set by the setting unit is the predetermined threshold value or more.

10. The electronic apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein even if after an end of the display time period of the item regarding a single shooting and before an end of the non-display time period during the continuous shooting, a next-shooting next to the single shooting starts, the control unit controls not to start displaying the item regarding the said next-shooting.

11. A method of controlling an electronic apparatus comprising:

setting an exposure time;

during continuous shooting at the exposure time set by the setting step, controlling to

display an item indicating a timing of execution of shooting together with a live view image, for a display time period associated with the exposure time, and

not display the item for a non-display time period from an end of the display time period until a start of next display time period,

wherein the controlling further comprises:

in a case where a length of the exposure time set by the setting step is a predetermined threshold value or more, setting a length of the display time period to a length corresponding to the exposure time, and

in a case where the length of the exposure time set by the setting step is shorter than the predetermined threshold value, setting the length of the display time period to a predetermined length which does not depend on the exposure time.

12. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a program that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform operations comprising:

setting an exposure time;

during continuous shooting at the exposure time set by the setting step, controlling to

display an item indicating a timing of execution of shooting together with a live view image, for a display time period associated with the exposure time, and

not display the item for a non-display time period from an end of the display time period until a start of next display time period,

wherein the controlling further comprises:

in a case where a length of the exposure time set by the setting step is a predetermined threshold value or more, setting a length of the display time period to a length corresponding to the exposure time, and

in a case where the length of the exposure time set by the setting step is shorter than the predetermined threshold value, setting the length of the display time period to a predetermined length which does not depend on the exposure time.

13. An electronic apparatus, comprising:

a memory and at least one processor which function as:

a first setting unit configured to set a shutter speed;

a second setting unit configured to set a continuous shooting speed;

a control unit configured to, during continuous shooting, control
