THERAPEUTIC OR PROPHYLACTIC METHOD FOR DIABETES USING COMBINATION MEDICINE
One purpose of the present invention is to provide therapy or prophylaxis of diabetes, obesity, or diabetic complications. The present invention provides a therapeutic or prophylactic medicine that is for diabetes, obesity, or diabetic complications, and that is characterized by combinational use of an SGLT1 inhibitor and at least one drug selected from SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors; and a therapeutic or prophylactic method that is for diabetes, obesity, or diabetic complications, and that is characterized by administering an SGLT1 inhibitor and at least one drug selected from SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors.
1 . A method of treating or preventing diabetes, obesity, or diabetic complications, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an SGLT1 inhibitor and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one drug selected from the group consisting of SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors to a subject.

3 . A method of treating or preventing diabetes, obesity, or diabetic complications, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula [I]:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof,
wherein R 1 is hydrogen or halogen;
R 2 is C 1-6 alkyl or halo-C 1-6 alkyl;
R 3 is
(1) C 1-6 alkyl,
(2) halo-C 1-6 alkyl,
(3) pyridyl substituted with R 3A , or
(4) pyrazinyl, pyrimidinyl, or pyridazinyl, which may be optionally substituted with R 3B ;
R 3A is cyano, halogen, or halo-C 1-3 alkyl;
R 3B is halogen, hydroxy, C 1-3 alkyl, halo-C 1-3 alkyl, C 1-3 alkoxy, or —N(R 4 )(R 5 ); and
R 4 and R 5 are each independently hydrogen or C 1-3 alkyl,
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one drug selected from the group consisting of SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors to a subject.

8 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the compound of Formula [I], or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, is a compound of Formula [II]:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one drug is dapagliflozin.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one drug is sitagliptin.
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the method is a method of treating or preventing type 2 diabetes.
12 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the subject is human.

26 . A method of treating or preventing a disease or condition associated with SGLT1 activity, SGLT2 activity, or DPP4 activity, or caused by elevated blood glucose levels due to sugar absorption, comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Formula [II]:
or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a therapeutically effective amount of at least one drug selected from the group consisting of SGLT2 inhibitors and DPP4 inhibitors to a subject.
