Abstract

Transgenic INIR6 maize plants comprising modifications of the DP-4114 maize locus which provide for facile excision of the modified DP-4114 transgenic locus or portions thereof, methods of making such plants, and use of such plants to facilitate breeding are disclosed.

Claims (4)

1. A DNA molecule comprising SEQ ID NO: 34.

2. A biological sample containing the DNA molecule of claim 1 .

3. The biological sample of claim 2 , wherein the biological sample comprises non-intact plant tissue.

4. The biological sample of claim 3 , wherein the non-intact plant tissue is milled seed, chopped plant tissue, or lyophilized tissue.
