Abstract

Lit image projection lamp and assemblies and methods to use the same to generate three-dimensional images. In an exemplary embodiment of a projection device of the present disclosure, the projection device comprises a light source and a curved lens positioned at a first distance from the light source, wherein the curved lens is a lenticular lens, having a concave portion and a convex portion, and wherein the projection device is configured to generate a homogenous light bar image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the curved lens.

2. The projection device of claim 1 , wherein the first lenticular lens is a curved lens having a concave portion and a convex portion.

3. The projection device of claim 1 , further comprising:

a third lenticular lens positioned at a third distance from the light source;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the third lenticular lens.

4. A projection device, comprising:

a light source; and

a first lenticular lens positioned at a first distance from the light source;

a second lenticular lens positioned at a second distance from the light source; and

an opaque mask having one or more custom apertures defined therethrough;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens and the second lenticular lens; and

wherein at least one of the one or more custom apertures has a first two-dimensional shape, and wherein at least a second aperture of the one or more custom apertures has a second two-dimensional shape different from the first two-dimensional shape.

5. The projection device of claim 4 , wherein when light passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the one or more custom apertures of the opaque mask, the projection device is configured to generate one or more first three-dimensional images corresponding to the first two-dimensional shape of the at least one of the one or more custom apertures and to generate one or more second three-dimensional images corresponding to the second two-dimensional shape of the at least a second aperture of the one or more custom apertures.

6. The projection device of claim 4 , further comprising:

a third lenticular lens positioned at a third distance from the light source;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the third lenticular lens.

7. The projection device of claim 4 , wherein the first lenticular lens is a curved lens having a concave portion and a convex portion.

8. A projection device, comprising:

a light source;

a first lenticular lens positioned at a first distance from the light source; and

an opaque mask having one or more custom apertures defined therethrough;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens; and

wherein at least one of the one or more custom apertures has a first two-dimensional shape, and wherein at least a second aperture of the one or more custom apertures has a second two-dimensional shape different from the first two-dimensional shape.

9. The projection device of claim 8 , wherein when light passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the one or more custom apertures of the opaque mask, the projection device is configured to generate one or more first three-dimensional images corresponding to the first two-dimensional shape of the at least one of the one or more custom apertures and to generate one or more second three-dimensional images corresponding to the second two-dimensional shape of the at least a second aperture of the one or more custom apertures.

10. The projection device of claim 8 , further comprising:

a third lenticular lens positioned at a third distance from the light source;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the third lenticular lens.

11. The projection device of claim 8 , wherein the first lenticular lens is a curved lens having a concave portion and a convex portion.

12. A projection device, comprising:

a light source; and

a first lenticular lens positioned at a first distance from the light source;

a second lenticular lens positioned at a second distance from the light source; and

a third lenticular lens positioned at a third distance from the light source;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens;

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens and the second lenticular lens; and

wherein the projection device is configured to generate a three-dimensional image from light emitted from the light source that passes through the first lenticular lens, the second lenticular lens, and the third lenticular lens.
