Abstract

[Object] To provide a mechanism that enables flexible design in relation to communication timing. [Solution] A communication apparatus including: a communication control unit that controls transmission of any one of a first channel that is transmitted in a first direction and a second channel that is transmitted in a second direction that faces the first direction and corresponds to the first channel and reception of the other one of the first channel and the second channel; and a setting unit that sets a control mode of the communication control unit to a first mode or a second mode. The communication control unit transmits and receives the first channel and the second channel in different sub frames in the first mode and transmits and receives the first channel and the second channel in a same sub frame in the second mode.

Claims (74)

1. A communication method performed by a terminal device, the method comprising:

receiving control information and a shared channel,

wherein the shared channel is a downlink shared channel from a base station or a sidelink shared channel from another terminal device;

setting a switching parameter based on the control information;

receiving setting information from radio resource control signaling for setting a control mode of the terminal device to a first mode or a second mode;

according to the set control mode, transmitting an uplink channel corresponding to the shared channel,

wherein the uplink channel is an uplink channel to the base station or the sidelink shared channel; and

based on the control mode having been set to the second mode:

comparing the switching parameter to a predetermined threshold,

wherein the switching parameter comprises a number of resource blocks allocated to the shared channel;

based on the switching parameter being larger than the predetermined threshold, switching the control mode from the second mode to the first mode; and

transmitting the uplink channel corresponding to the shared channel according to the first mode,

wherein a processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the first mode is longer than the processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the second mode.

2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the control mode is initially set to the first mode by default.

3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a radio resource control (RRC) state.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a duplex scheme.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a sub carrier interval.

6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a transmission time interval (TTI) length.

7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a last symbol of the shared channel is set at either:

a position before a last symbol of a downlink sub frame in which a first channel is included in the second mode, or

a same position as a position of the last symbol of the downlink sub frame in which the shared channel is included in the first mode.

8. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the shared channel is a control channel, and

the uplink channel is a data channel.

9. A communication method performed by a base station device, the method comprising:

transmitting control information and a downlink shared channel to a terminal device, the control information configured to enable the terminal device to set a switching parameter;

transmitting setting information via radio resource control signaling to the terminal device to enable the terminal device to set a control mode to a first mode or a second mode; and

according to the set control mode, receiving an uplink channel from the terminal device,

wherein, based on the control mode having been set to the second mode:

(1) the terminal device:

compares the switching parameter to a predetermined threshold,

wherein the switching parameter comprises a number of resource blocks allocated to the shared channel; and

based on the switching parameter being larger than the predetermined threshold, switches the control mode from the second mode to the first mode, and

(2) the method further comprises receiving the uplink channel corresponding to the shared channel according to the first mode,

wherein a processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the first mode is longer than the processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the second mode.

10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the control mode is initially set to the first mode by default.

11. The method of claim 9 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a radio resource control (RRC) state.

12. The method of claim 9 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a duplex scheme.

13. The method of claim 9 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a sub carrier interval.

14. The method of claim 9 , wherein the setting information corresponds to a transmission time interval (TTI) length.

15. The method of claim 9 , wherein a last symbol of the shared channel is set at either:

a position before a last symbol of a downlink sub frame in which a first channel is included in the second mode, or

a same position as a position of the last symbol of the downlink sub frame in which the shared channel is included in the first mode.

16. The method of claim 9 ,

wherein the shared channel is a control channel, and

the uplink channel is a data channel.

17. A terminal device comprising:

a transceiver; and

control circuitry configured to:

receive control information and a shared channel,

wherein the shared channel is a downlink shared channel from a base station or a sidelink shared channel from another terminal device;

set a switching parameter based on the control information;

receive setting information from radio resource control signaling for setting a control mode of the terminal device to a first mode or a second mode;

according to the set control mode, transmit an uplink channel corresponding to the shared channel,

wherein the uplink channel is an uplink channel to the base station or the sidelink shared channel; and

based on the control mode having been set to the second mode:

compare the switching parameter to a predetermined threshold,

wherein the switching parameter comprises a number of resource blocks allocated to the shared channel;

based on the switching parameter being larger than the predetermined threshold, switch the control mode from the second mode to the first mode;

transmit the uplink channel corresponding to the shared channel according to the first mode,

wherein a processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the first mode is longer than the processing time of the terminal device after receiving the shared channel in the second mode.

18. A base station device comprising:

a transceiver; and

control circuitry configured to:
