A computer-based method of transferring funds between a stored value account and a gaming account, the method performed by one or more computing devices comprising instructions stored in a memory, which when executed by one or more processors of the one or more computing devices, cause the one or more computing devices to perform the method comprising:

associating in computer memory of the one or more computing devices, a stored value account of a player with a player identifier of a gaming environment, wherein the stored value account is a financial account that holds a balance maintained by an issuer processor computing on a bank card network, wherein funds held in the stored value account are usable for payment transactions at any of a plurality of merchants associated with the bank card network, and wherein the stored value account is associated with a non-reloadable stored value payment vehicle;

receiving, by the one or more computing devices, the player identifier of the player, wherein the player identifier is associated with a gaming account having a balance maintained by a casino computing system of the gaming environment, wherein the balance of the gaming account is usable for wagering within the gaming environment;

identifying, by any of the one or more computing devices and based at least partially on the player identifier, the stored value account of the player;

receiving, by the one or more computing devices, a request for the balance of the stored value account maintained by the issuer processor computing system;

querying, by the one or more computing devices, the issuer processor computing system for the balance of the stored value account;

displaying, by the one or more computing devices, an indication of the balance of the stored value account;

instructing, by any of the one or more computing devices, the issuer processor computing system to decrease the balance of the stored value account; and

instructing, by any of the one or more computing devices, the casino computing system to increase the balance of the gaming account.

2. The computer-based method of claim 1 , further comprising:

receiving, by any of the one or more computing devices, a request initiated by the player to transfer a first amount of funds from the stored value account to the gaming account; and

initiating, by any of the one or more computing devices, a transaction to decrease the balance of the stored value account.

3. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the first amount of funds is converted to non-cashable credits in the gaming account.

4. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the gaming account is any of a wagering account, a casino level player account, a casino level player account, brick-and-mortar wagering account, race-and-sports wagering account, an internet gaming wagering account, and a metered gaming non-cashable credit account.

5. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein increasing of the balance of the gaming account occurs subsequent to a delay.

6. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein increasing of the balance of the gaming account occurs in substantially real-time.

7. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein decreasing the balance of the stored value account and increasing the balance of the gaming account occurs substantially simultaneously.

8. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the player identifier is a casino-issued unique identifier tied to a loyalty program associated with the gaming environment.

9. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the increased balance of the gaming account comprises non-cashable credits.

10. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the balance of the gaming account is usable for wagering at a gaming device of the gaming environment.

11. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the balance of the gaming account is usable for wagering at a table game of the gaming environment.

12. The computer-based method of claim 1 , wherein the balance of the gaming account is usable for wagering at a sports book of the gaming environment.

13. A system for a gaming environment comprising:

a non-reloadable stored value payment vehicle, wherein a balance of funds accessible by the stored value payment vehicle are maintained in an stored value account maintained by a host computing system;

a gaming account maintained by a casino computing system to hold funds for a player, wherein a balance of the gaming account is usable for wagering;

a loyalty account assigned to the player, wherein the loyalty account is maintained by a customer management system, wherein the loyalty account assigned to the player is associated with a player identifier; and

at least one processor and non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored thereon which when executed by a processor cause the processor to:

associate in a computer memory the stored value account with the player identifier;

receive the player identifier of the player, wherein the player identifier is associated with the gaming account;

identify based at least partially on the player identifier, the stored value account;

receive a request for the balance of the stored value account maintained by the host computing system;

query the host computing system for the balance of the stored value account;

display an indication of the balance of the stored value account;

selectively cause the funds maintained in the stored value account to be decreased; and

selectively cause the funds held by the gaming account to be increased, wherein the funds are available to the player for wagering.

15. The system for a gaming environment of claim 13 , wherein the gaming account is a metered gaming non-cashable credit account.

16. The system for a gaming environment of claim 13 , wherein causing the funds held by the gaming account to be increased occurs subsequent to a delay.

17. The system for a gaming environment of claim 13 , wherein causing the funds held by the gaming account to be increased occurs in substantially real-time.

18. The system for a gaming environment of claim 13 , wherein selectively causing the funds maintained in the stored value account to be decreased and selectively causing the funds held by the gaming account to be increased occurs substantially simultaneously.

19. The computer-based method of claim 13 , wherein the player identifier is a casino-issued unique identifier tied to a loyalty program associated with the gaming environment.

20. The computer-based method of claim 13 , wherein the funds available to the player for wagering are non-cashable credits.

21. The computer-based method of claim 13 , wherein the funds held by the gaming account are usable for wagering at a gaming device of the gaming environment.

22. The computer-based method of claim 13 , wherein the funds held by the gaming account are usable for wagering at a table game of the gaming environment.

23. The computer-based method of claim 13 , wherein the funds held by the gaming account are usable for wagering at a sports book of the gaming environment.
