Abstract

Systems and methods are operable to control presentation of an erotica-related media content event. An exemplary embodiment is a media device that receives information from a user sensor that is configured to sense a physical characteristic of a user viewing the erotica-related media content event, and automatically changes presentation of the erotica-related media content event based on the received information corresponding to the sensed physical characteristic of the viewing user.

Claims (49)

1. A media device for controlling presentation of an erotica-related media content event, comprising:

a user sensor interface configured to receive information from a user sensor,

wherein the user sensor is configured to sense at least one physical characteristic of a user viewing the erotica-related media content event,

wherein the at least one physical characteristic includes a pupil dilation of the user,

wherein the information corresponds to a magnitude of the at least one physical characteristic;

a presentation device interface configured to communicate the erotica-related media content event to a visual display device, wherein the erotica-related media content event is presentable by the visual display device to the viewing user;

a haptic device configured to provide a physical sensation to the viewing user; and

a processor system communicatively coupled to the user sensor interface, the haptic device, and the presentation device interface, and configured to:

determine that the viewing user is entering into a highly excited state based on the received information from the user sensor while the user is viewing a currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event, wherein the viewing user is entering into the highly excited state is determined when the magnitude of the at least one physical characteristic changes from a value that is less than a predefined threshold to a magnitude that is greater than the predefined threshold; and

operate the haptic device in response to determining that the viewing user has entered the highly excited state.

2. The media device of claim 1 , wherein the haptic device is synchronized with the presentation of the erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event.

3. The media device of claim 1 , wherein the processor system is further configured to determine that the viewing user is leaving the highly excited state based on the received information from the user sensor and present a different erotic scene in response to determining that the viewing user has left the highly excited state prior to conclusion of the currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event.

4. The media device of claim 1 , wherein the user sensor is configured to sense a heart pulse rate of the viewing user, and wherein the processor system is further configured to monitor the heart pulse rate of the viewing user, wherein the information from the user sensor corresponds to the sensed heart pulse rate of the viewing user.

5. The media device of claim 1 , wherein the user sensor is configured to sense a sweating of the viewing user, and wherein the processor system is further configured to monitor sweating of the viewing user, wherein the information from the user sensor corresponds to the sensed sweating of the viewing user.

6. The media device of claim 1 , wherein the user sensor is configured to sense a body temperature of the viewing user, and wherein the processor system is further configured to monitor the body temperature of the viewing user, wherein the information from the user sensor corresponds to the sensed body temperature of the viewing user.

7. A media device for controlling presentation of an erotica-related media content event, comprising:

a user sensor interface configured to receive information from a user sensor,

wherein the user sensor is configured to sense at least one physical characteristic of a user viewing the erotica-related media content event,

wherein the at least one physical characteristic includes a pupil dilation of the user,

wherein the information corresponds to a magnitude of the at least one physical characteristic;

a presentation device interface configured to communicate the erotica-related media content event to a visual display device, wherein the erotica-related media content event is presentable by the visual display device to the viewing user;

a haptic device configured to provide a physical sensation to the viewing user; and

a processor system communicatively coupled to the user sensor interface, the haptic device, and the presentation device interface, and configured to:

determine that the viewing user is entering into a highly excited state based on the received information from the user sensor while the user is viewing a currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event, wherein the viewing user is entering into the highly excited state is determined when the magnitude of the at least one physical characteristic changes from a value that is less than a predefined threshold to a magnitude that is greater than the predefined threshold;

operate the haptic device in response to determining that the viewing user has entered the highly excited state;

establish a communication link to a remote device over a communication network after presentation of the currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event begins;

retrieve a different erotic scene from the remote device; and

present the different erotic scene after an end of the currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event in response to determining that the viewing user remains in the highly excited state.

8. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the haptic device is synchronized with the presentation of the erotic scene.

9. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the different erotic scene is from a different erotica related media content event.

10. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the remote device comprises an internet site.

11. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the processor system is further configured to determine that the viewing user is leaving the highly excited state based on the received information from the user sensor and present the different erotic scene in response to determining that the viewing user has left the highly excited state prior to the end of the currently presented erotic scene of the erotica-related media content event.

12. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the user sensor is configured to sense a heart pulse rate of the viewing user, and wherein the processor system is further configured to monitor the heart pulse rate of the viewing user, wherein the information from the user sensor corresponds to the sensed heart pulse rate of the viewing user.

13. The media device of claim 7 , wherein the processor system is further configured to monitor the pupil dilation of the viewing user, wherein the information from the user sensor corresponds to the sensed pupil dilation of the viewing user.

14. A media device for controlling presentation of an erotica-related media content event, comprising:

a teledildonic interface configured to receive information from a user sensor that is integrated into a teledildonic device,

wherein the user sensor is configured to sense at least one physical characteristic of a user viewing the erotica-related media content event,

wherein the at least one physical characteristic includes a pupil dilation of the user,

wherein the information corresponds to a magnitude of the at least one physical characteristic, and wherein the teledildonic device includes a haptic device;

a presentation device interface configured to communicate the erotica-related media content event to a visual display device, wherein the erotica-related media content event is presentable by the visual display device to the viewing user; and
