Abstract

Examples disclosed herein relate to a gaming device including a memory, a processor, a display, and a call tower. The call tower extends upwardly from the gaming device, such as above the display. The call tower includes a call tower video display and may include one or more plates, such as light or image plates. The gaming device includes a processor which presents a game via the display and causes the plates and/or call tower video display to display information, such as images.

Claims (28)

1. An electronic gaming device comprising:

a gaming cabinet having a front and a back;

at least one display device located at the front of the gaming cabinet; and

a call tower comprising at least one plate, each plate being cantilevered from a support column extending upwardly from a top of the gaming device, each plate being connected to the support column at a rear side and extending towards the front of the gaming cabinet, and a call tower projector, said call tower projector configured to project one or more images onto a surface external to said gaming device.

2. The electronic gaming device of claim 1 , further comprising a processor, said processor configured to cause said call tower projector to project said one or more images.

3. The electronic gaming device of claim 2 , wherein said at one or more images are associated with at least one award.

4. The electronic gaming device of claim 3 , wherein said at least one award comprises a payout amount associated with an outcome of a wagering game presented at said electronic gaming device by said processor.

5. The electronic gaming device of claim 3 , wherein said at least one award comprises a bonus award.

6. The electronic gaming device of claim 1 , wherein said at least one plate comprises a light plate.

7. An electronic gaming device comprising:

a gaming cabinet having a front and a back;

at least one display device located at the front of the gaming cabinet;

a call tower extending upwardly from a top of the gaming device, said call tower comprising a call tower projector; and

a processor, said processor configured to cause said at least one display device to display information regarding a wagering game and to cause said call tower projector to project, onto one or more external surface, one or more images.

8. The electronic gaming device of claim 7 , wherein said one or more images are associated with at least one award.

9. The electronic gaming device of claim 8 , wherein said at least one award comprises a payout amount associated with an outcome of said wagering game.

10. The electronic gaming device of claim 8 , wherein said at least one award comprises a bonus award.

11. The electronic gaming device of claim 7 , wherein at least one image is associated with said wagering game.

12. An electronic gaming device comprising:

a gaming cabinet having a front and a back;

a video display located at the front of the gaming cabinet, wherein said video display has a top, a bottom and first and second sides;

a video strip display device located adjacent to and extending vertically along at least one of said first side and said second side of said video display, said video strip display device configured to display one or more images; and

wherein a ring display area separates said video display from said video strip display device.

13. The electronic gaming device of claim 12 , wherein said video strip display device displays video.

14. The electronic gaming device of claim 12 , wherein said ring display area comprises a number of LEDs.

15. The electronic gaming device of claim 12 , wherein said ring display area is configured to display graphics.

16. The electronic gaming device of claim 15 , further comprising a controller configured to cause said video display, video strip display and ring display area to cooperatively display information.

17. The electronic gaming device of claim 12 , wherein said ring display area extends around said top, bottom, first side and second side of said video display.
