Abstract

A digitally enhanced exercise system includes a proximal section comprising a first structural member and a platform; a distal section comprising a second structural member and an interface, wherein the interface is attached to the second structural member by a mount; a spine that is spans between the first structural member and the second structural member; a carriage configured to move in a single axis along the spine; a tension system, wherein the tension system is capable of resisting the carriage from moving; a sensor array arranged so as to detect changes in weight on the carriage; and a processor. Other aspects are also described and claimed.

7. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 1 , wherein:

the proximal section comprises a first set of elements that enable the digitally enhanced exercise system to fold; and

the distal section comprises a second set of elements that enable the digitally enhanced exercise system to fold.

8. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 1 , wherein the platform is coupled to a jump board.

9. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 1 , wherein the display is in a first orientation and is configured to rotate to a second orientation different from the first orientation.

10. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 1 , wherein the display is in a first orientation and is configured to pivot to a second orientation different from the first orientation.

11. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 1 , comprising one or more sensors for detecting a position of the carriage, wherein the controller is configured to monitor the position of the carriage while the user is using the digitally enhanced exercise system.

12. A digitally enhanced exercise system, comprising:

a proximal section comprising a first structural member and a platform;

a distal section comprising a second structural member;

a carriage configured to move between the first structural member and the second structural member;

a carriage sensor array configured to detect first weight data of a user of the digitally enhanced exercise system on the carriage; and

a platform sensor array configured to detect second weight data of the user of the digitally enhanced exercise system on the platform.

13. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 12 , wherein the carriage sensor array is configured to detect a weight delta of the user of the digitally enhanced exercise system across the carriage.

14. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 12 , wherein the platform sensor array is configured to detect a weight delta of the user of the digitally enhanced exercise system across the platform.

15. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 12 , comprising a controller configured to determine weight distribution data of the user on the digitally enhanced exercise system using the first weight data and the second weight data.

16. The digitally enhanced exercise system of claim 12 , comprising:

one or more sensors for detecting a position of the carriage; and

a controller, wherein the controller is configured to monitor the position of the carriage while the user is using the digitally enhanced exercise system.

17. A digitally enhanced exercise system, comprising:

a proximal section comprising a first structural member and a platform;

a distal section comprising a second structural member and an interface, wherein the interface is attached to the second structural member by a mount;

a spine that spans between the first structural member and the second structural member without the digitally enhanced exercise system further comprising one or more rails that span between the first structural member and the second structural member, or the one or more rails that span between the first structural member and the second structural member without the digitally enhanced exercise system further comprising the spine that spans between the first structural member and the second structural member;
