Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method and an apparatus therefor, the method comprising the steps of: detecting an SSB in an unlicensed band, the SSB including an index related to a CORESET configuration; determining, on the basis of the index, an RB offset used for identifying the position of a CORESET frequency associated with the SSB; and monitoring the CORESET in the unlicensed band on the basis of the RB offset.

Claims (105)

1. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block in an unlicensed band;

obtaining master information block (MIB) from the SS/PBCH block, wherein the MIB includes an index related to configuration of a control resource set (CORESET);

determining an offset from a smallest resource block (RB) index of the CORESET to a smallest RB index of the SS/PBCH block based on the index; and

based on the offset, monitoring a Type0-physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) common search space (CSS) set associated with the CORESET in the unlicensed band,

wherein, based on a subcarrier spacing (SCS) of the SS/PBCH block, the offset is determined as follows:

SCS of SS/PBCH

SCS of SS/PBCH

block = 30 kHz

block = 15 kHz

2. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein, based on that the offset corresponding to the SCS of 30 kHz is k, the offset corresponding to the SCS of 15 kHz is determined as 2*k+10,

where k represents an integer.

3. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein a center frequency of the SS/PBCH block corresponds to a synchronization raster.

4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

detecting a PDCCH from the Type-0 PDCCH CSS set based on the monitoring.

5. The method of claim 4 , further comprising:

receiving system information via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) related to the PDCCH.

6. The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the offset is a RB-based offset.

7. A user equipment (UE) used in a wireless communication system, the UE comprising:

at least one transceiver;

at least one processor; and

at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block in an unlicensed band;

obtaining master information block (MIB) from the SS/PBCH block, wherein the MIB includes an index related to configuration of a control resource set (CORESET);

determining an offset from a smallest resource block (RB) index of the CORESET to a smallest RB index of the SS/PBCH block based on the index; and

based on the offset, monitoring a Type0-physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) common search space (CSS) set associated with the CORESET in the unlicensed band,

wherein, based on a subcarrier spacing (SCS) of the SS/PBCH block, the offset is determined as follows:

10. The UE of claim 7 ,

wherein the operations further comprise detecting a PDCCH from the Type-0 PDCCH CSS set based on the monitoring.

11. The UE of claim 10 ,

wherein the operations comprise receiving system information via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) related to the PDCCH.

12. The UE of claim 7

wherein the offset is a RB-based offset.

13. An apparatus for a user equipment (UE), the apparatus comprising:

at least one processor; and

at least one computer memory operably connected to the at least one processor and configured to, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:

receiving a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block in an unlicensed band;

obtaining master information block (MIB) from the SS/PBCH block, wherein the MIB includes an index related to configuration of a control resource set (CORESET);

determining an offset from a smallest resource block (RB) index of the CORESET to a smallest RB index of the SS/PBCH block based on the index; and
