Abstract

An adhesive application device is provided for carrying out a method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and stators of electric motors or generators, wherein a light-activated adhesive is applied to one side of electric steel prior to punching out laminations or to at least one side of already punched-out laminations, wherein the adhesive is irradiated and activated with a light of required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from an application unit, and wherein laminations are then punched out from the electric steel and stacked or the already punched-out laminations are stacked to a lamination stack. The adhesive application device has at least one application unit with at least one valve for discharging an adhesive. At least one radiation source is arranged in a region of the valve and emits radiation and directs the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve.

Claims (18)

1. An adhesive application device for carrying out a method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and/or stators of electric motors or generators, wherein the method comprises: punching laminations; applying a light-activated adhesive with an application unit to at least one side of the laminations, respectively, and irradiating and activating the adhesive with a light of a required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from the application unit, and stacking the laminations to a lamination stack; the adhesive application device comprising:

at least one application unit comprising at least one valve for discharging an adhesive;

at least one radiation source arranged in a region of the at least one valve and configured to emit a radiation and direct the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve;

a supply line configured to supply the adhesive to the at least one valve, wherein the supply line comprises a radiation-permeable region transparent to the radiation in a region where the radiation is emitted by the radiation source;

at least one cover which is impermeable to the radiation and which is configured to at least partially cover the radiation-permeable region.

2. The application device according to claim 1 , wherein the radiation-permeable region of the supply line extends up to the at least one valve.

3. The application device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one cover surrounds the supply line and is infinitely adjustable.

4. The application device according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one valve is provided on a support, wherein the support is transversely adjustable to a feed direction of an electrical steel strip or electrical steel sheet through the application device.

5. The application device according to claim 1 , further comprising a frame, wherein the at least one application unit includes a first application unit and a second application unit, wherein the frame accommodates the first and second application units, wherein the first application unit is arranged above and the second application unit is arranged below an electrical steel strip or an electrical steel sheet transportable through the frame.

6. An adhesive application device for carrying out a method for producing a lamination stack for rotors and/or stators of electric motors or generators, wherein the method comprises: applying a light-activated adhesive with an application unit to at least one side of electrical steel and irradiating and activating the adhesive with a light of a required wavelength immediately before the adhesive exits from the application unit, subsequently punching laminations from the electrical steel, and stacking the laminations to a lamination stack; the adhesive application device comprising:

at least one application unit comprising at least one valve for discharging an adhesive;

at least one radiation source arranged in a region of the at least one valve and configured to emit a radiation and direct the radiation to the adhesive provided in the region of the at least one valve;

a supply line configured to supply the adhesive to the at least one valve wherein the supply line comprises a radiation-permeable region transparent to the radiation in a region where the radiation is emitted by the radiation source;

at least one cover which is impermeable to the radiation and which is configured to at least partially cover the radiation-permeable region.

7. The application device according to claim 6 , wherein the radiation-permeable region of the supply line extends up to the at least one valve.

8. The application device according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one cover surrounds the supply line and is infinitely adjustable.

9. The application device according to claim 6 , wherein the at least one valve is provided on a support, wherein the support is transversely adjustable to a feed direction of an electrical steel strip or electrical steel sheet through the application device.

10. The application device according to claim 6 , further comprising a frame, wherein the at least one application unit includes a first application unit and a second application unit, wherein the frame accommodates the first and second application units, wherein the first application unit is arranged above and the second application unit is arranged below an electrical steel strip or an electrical steel sheet transportable through the frame.
