Abstract

A method is described in which model data describing a three-dimensional object is received. A first offset is applied to a surface of the object, the first offset being applied to the model data. The model data is converted to voxel data, and a second offset is applied to the surface of the object, the second offset being applied to the voxel data.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first and second model data offsets depend on properties of the first and second objects, respectively.

6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the property is one or more multiple of: build materials of the first and second objects, positions of the first and second objects within a build volume in the print job, sizes of the first and second objects, shapes of the first and second objects, and proximities of the first and second objects to other objects within the build volume.

7 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

identifying, by the processor, features of the first and second objects having a size less than a threshold,
