Abstract

Disclosed are a method and a base station, the method allowing a first base station and a second base station to exchange a resource sharing message, scheduling resources on the basis of the resource sharing message, and controlling the collision of sharing resources on the basis of a collision control message.

Claims (93)

1 . A method performed by a first base station for controlling collision of shared resources in a communication system, the method comprising:

receiving, from a second base station, a resource sharing message including information on the shared resources, wherein a priority of the second base station is higher than a priority of the first base station, for using the shared resources;

performing a communication with a first terminal using the shared resources;

receiving, from the second base station, a collision control message including information on a failure resource where data transmission between a second terminal and the second base station has failed, the information on the failure resource including a location of the failure resource in a time domain or a frequency domain;

identifying a collision rate based on a number of collision resources within a predetermined resource region, using the information on the failure resource; and

performing scheduling for the first terminal to restrict usage of at least one resource among the shared resources, in case that the collision rate is higher than a predetermined collision rate,

wherein the at least one resource is determined based on a size of the predetermined resource region, the number of collision resources, and the predetermined collision rate.

2 . The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the resource sharing message further comprises information on at least one of a collision type, a collision criterion, base station capability, or a base station location, and

wherein the information on the shared resources includes a location of the shared resources in a time domain or a frequency domain, and a sharing type for the shared resources.

3 . The method of claim 1 ,

wherein the collision control message further includes information on a system variable needed to determine the collision of the shared resources or control usage of the shared resources, and

wherein the system variable includes at least one of a resource sharing type on the shared resources, a frequency band of the shared resources, a shared time of the shared resources, a shared time interval, a shared resource transmission power table, a shared resource modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table, a collision definition delimiter, a collision reference value, a time interval for the predetermined resource region, a frequency for the predetermined resource region, base station capability, or a base station location.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein, if the predetermined resource region is a time duration, P, the at least one resource is N slots and determined based on:

wherein, if the predetermined resource region is a bandwidth, Q, the at least one resource is N sub-carriers and determined based on:

and

wherein the k is the number of collision resources, and the a is the predetermined collision rate.

5 . A method performed by a second base station for controlling collision of shared resources in a communication system, the method comprising:

transmitting, to a first base station a resource sharing message including information on the shared resources, wherein a priority of the second base station is higher than a priority of the first base station, for using the shared resources;

performing a communication with a second terminal using the shared resources:

identifying a failure resource where data transmission between the second terminal and the second base station has failed; and

transmitting, to the first base station, a collision control message including information on a failure resource, the information on the failure resource including a location of the failure resource in a time domain or a frequency domain,

wherein the information on the failure resource is used for identifying a collision rate that indicates a number of collision resources within a predetermined resource region,

wherein scheduling for a first terminal to restrict usage of at least one resource among the shared resources is performed by the first base station, if the collision rate is higher than a predetermined collision rate, and

wherein the at least one resource is determined based on a size of the predetermined resource region, the number of collision resources, and the predetermined collision rate.

6 . The method of claim 5 ,

wherein the resource sharing message further comprises information on at least one of a collision type, a collision criterion, base station capability, or a base station location, and

wherein the information on the shared resources includes a location of the shared resources in a time domain or a frequency domain, and a sharing type for the shared resources.

7 . The method of claim 5 ,

wherein the collision control message further comprises information on a system variable needed to determine the collision of the shared resources or control usage of the shared resources, and

wherein the system variable includes at least one of a resource sharing type on the shared resources, a frequency band of the shared resources, a shared time of the shared resources, a shared time interval, a shared resource transmission power table, a shared resource modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table, a collision definition delimiter, a collision reference value, a time interval for the predetermined resource region, a frequency for the predetermined resource region, base station capability, or a base station location.

8 . A first base station in a communication system, the first base station comprising:

a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal to and from a first terminal;

and

at least one processor configured to:

receive, from a second base station, a resource sharing message including information on the shared resources, wherein a priority of the second base station is higher than a priority of the first base station, for using the shared resources,

perform a communication with the first terminal using the shared resources,

receive, from the second base station, a collision control message including information on a failure resource where data transmission between a second terminal and the second base station has failed, the information on the failure resource including a location of the failure resource in a time domain or a frequency domain,

identify a collision rate based on a number of collision resources within a predetermined resource region, using the information on the failure resource, and

perform scheduling for the first terminal to restrict usage of at least one resource among the shared resources, in case that the collision rate is higher than a predetermined collision rate,

wherein the at least one resource is determined based on a size of the predetermined resource region, the number of collision resources, and the predetermined collision rate.

9 . The first base station of claim 8 ,

wherein the resource sharing message further comprises information on at least one of a collision type, a collision criterion, base station capability, or a base station location, and

wherein the information on the shared resources includes a location of the shared resources in a time domain or a frequency domain, and a sharing type for the shared resources.

10 . The first base station of claim 8 ,

wherein the collision control message further includes information on a system variable needed to determine the collision of the shared resources or control usage of the shared resources, and

wherein the system variable includes at least one of a resource sharing type on the shared resources, a frequency band of the shared resources, a shared time of the shared resources, a shared time interval, a shared resource transmission power table, a shared resource modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table, a collision definition delimiter, a collision reference value, a time interval for the predetermined resource region, a frequency for the predetermined resource region, base station capability, or a base station location.

11 . The first base station of claim 8 , wherein, if the predetermined resource region is a time duration, P, the at least one resource is N slots and determined based on:

12 . A second base station in a communication system, the second base station comprising:

a transceiver configured to transmit and receive a signal to and from a second terminal;

and

at least one processor configured to:

transmit, to a first base station, a resource sharing message including information on the shared resources, wherein a priority of the second base station is higher than a priority of the first base station, for using the shared resources,

perform a communication with a second terminal using the shared resources,

identify a failure resource where data transmission between the second terminal and the second base station has failed, and

transmit, to the first base station, a collision control message including information on a failure resource, the information on the failure resource including a location of the failure resource in a time domain or a frequency domain,

wherein the information on the failure resource is used for identifying a collision rate that indicates a number of collision resources within a predetermined resource region,

wherein scheduling for a first terminal to restrict usage of at least one resource among the shared resources is performed by the first base station, if the collision rate is higher than a predetermined collision rate, and

wherein the at least one resource is determined based on a size of the predetermined resource region, the number of collision resources, and the predetermined collision rate.

13 . The second base station of claim 12 ,

wherein the resource sharing message further comprises information on at least one of a collision type, a collision criterion, base station capability, or a base station location,

wherein the information on the shared resources includes a location of the shared resources in a time domain or a frequency domain, and a sharing type for the shared resources, and

wherein the first base station and the second base station correspond to different mobile network operators, respectively.

14 . The second base station of claim 12 ,

wherein the collision control message further comprises information on a system variable needed to determine the collision of the shared resources or control usage of the shared resources, and

wherein the system variable includes at least one of a resource sharing type on the shared resources, a frequency band of the shared resources, a shared time of the shared resources, a shared time interval, a shared resource transmission power table, a shared resource modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table, a collision definition delimiter, a collision reference value, a time interval for the predetermined resource region, a frequency for the predetermined resource region, base station capability, or a base station location.
