Driver modifications of improper actions
View Patent ↗An example operation includes one or more of determining an action of a vehicle that causes an unsafe environment; storing a count of the action during a period; and autonomously controlling the vehicle to correct the action when the count is over a threshold.
1 . A method, comprising:
determining that an action caused by maneuvering a vehicle causes an unsafe environment;
determining a likelihood that the action will be repeated while maneuvering the vehicle based on a time when the action occurs; and
autonomously controlling the vehicle to correct the action based on the likelihood.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
providing a notification that includes video data of a same or a similar circumstance as the unsafe environment and a corresponding corrective action.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the autonomously controlling the vehicle comprises:
before the action is repeated, providing software to the vehicle to correct the action.
4 . The method of claim 3 , comprising:
counting how many times the action occurs within a period; and
removing the software from the vehicle in response to the action not occurring for a duration equal to that of the period.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining that an other action by an other vehicle causes the unsafe environment.
6 . The method of claim 1 , comprising:
autonomously controlling the vehicle to correct the unsafe environment when a number of vehicles affected by the action exceeds a threshold.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the action comprises swerving of the vehicle.
8 . A system, comprising:
a processor that executes instructions stored in a memory to configure the processor to:
determine that an action caused by maneuvering a vehicle causes an unsafe environment;
determine a likelihood that the action will be repeated while maneuvering the vehicle based on a time when the action occurs; and
autonomously control the vehicle to correct the action based on the likelihood.
9 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is configured to:
provide a notification that includes video data of a same or similar circumstance as the unsafe environment and a corresponding corrective action.
10 . The system of claim 8 , wherein, when the processor autonomously controls the vehicle, the processor is configured:
before the action is repeated, provide software to the vehicle to correct the action.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the processor is configured to:
count how many times the action occurs within a period; and
remove the software from the vehicle in response to the action not occurring for a duration equal to that of the period.
12 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is configured:
determine that an other action by an other vehicle causes the unsafe environment.
13 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the processor is configured to:
autonomously control the vehicle to correct the unsafe environment when a number of vehicles affected by the action exceeds a threshold.
14 . The system of claim 8 , wherein the action comprises swerving of the vehicle.
15 . A computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform:
determining that an action caused by maneuvering a vehicle causes an unsafe environment;
determining a likelihood that the action will be repeated while maneuvering the vehicle based on a time when the action occurs; and
autonomously controlling the vehicle to correct the action based on the likelihood.
16 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions cause the processor to perform:
providing a notification that includes video data of a same or a similar circumstance as the unsafe environment and a corresponding corrective action.
17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the autonomously controlling the vehicle comprises:
before the action is repeated, providing software to the vehicle to correct the action.
18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the instructions cause the processor to perform:
counting how many times the action occurs within a period; and
removing the software from the vehicle in response to the action not occurring for a duration equal to that of the period.
19 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the instructions cause the processor to perform:
determining that an other action by an other vehicle causes the unsafe environment.
20 . The computer-readable medium of claim 15 , wherein the action comprises swerving of the vehicle.
