Yoga block system
View Patent ↗A yoga block system that is comprised of a plurality of props wherein the props are configured to be releasably secured in order to facilitate creation of a multitude of configured props having various shapes and sizes. The prop of the present invention is provided in various shapes and sizes. At least one surface of the prop includes a magnet secured therein. The magnet can be secured so as to be in one of three positions; flush, recessed or extended. The magnets of the props are aligned in a pattern so as to facilitate releasable securing of a first prop to a second prop. The prop can further be configured with a peg extending outward from a surface thereof wherein the peg is operable to be inserted into a hole formed in a surface of a prop that is designed to be releasably secured thereto.
1. A yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises wherein the yoga block system comprises:
a first prop, said first prop having at least two surfaces, one of said at least two surfaces having a first magnet mounted therein, said first magnet being mounted in a first position, a second position or a third position, said first magnet having an upper surface, wherein one of said at least two surfaces of said first prop further includes a hole formed therein;
a second prop, said second prop having at least two surfaces, one of said at least two surfaces of said second prop having a second magnet mounted therein, said second magnet having an opposing polarity than said first magnet, said second magnet being mounted in a first position, a second position or a third position, said second magnet having an upper surface, wherein one of said at least two surfaces of said second prop has a peg secured thereto and extending outward therefrom, said peg being configured to be mateably inserted into said hole of said first prop; and
wherein said first magnet and said second magnet are operable to facilitate releasable securing of said first prop and said second prop to form a configured prop and wherein in said first position of said first magnet and said second magnet, the upper surface of the first magnet and the upper surface of the second magnet are flush with an outer surface of the first prop and second prop to which the first magnet and second magnet are secured and wherein in said second position of said first magnet and said second magnet, the upper surface of the first magnet and the upper surface of the second magnet is above the outer surface of the first prop and second prop to which the first magnet and second magnet are secured.

The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 1 , wherein in said third position of said first magnet and said second magnet, the upper surface of the first magnet and the upper surface of the second magnet is below the outer surface of the first prop and second prop to which the first magnet and second magnet are secured.
3. The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 2 , wherein in said third position of said first magnet and said second magnet, a cavity is present immediately above the first magnet and second magnet.

The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 3 , wherein upon the first magnet being in said second position and said second magnet being in said third position, a portion of said first magnet is journaled into the cavity present above the second magnet.
5. The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 4 , wherein said configured prop is configured to be provided in a plurality of shapes based on positioning of the first prop and the second prop.
6. A yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises wherein the yoga block system comprises:
a plurality of props, each of said plurality of props having a plurality of surfaces, wherein a first prop of said plurality of props includes at least two magnets mounted to a surface of said first prop, wherein said at least two magnets are mounted in either a first position, a second position or a third position, said plurality of props further including a second prop, said second prop having at least two magnets mounted to a surface thereof, said at least two magnets of said second prop being mounted in either a first position, a second position or a third position, wherein in said first position said at least two magnets are flush with an upper surface of the surface of the first prop and second prop to which the at least two magnets are mounted and wherein in said second position said at least two magnets are extended above the upper surface of the surface of the first prop and second prop to which the at least two magnets are mounted;
wherein said plurality of props are configured to be releasably secured to form a configured prop, wherein said configured prop includes at least two props of said plurality of props, wherein said configured prop is provided in alternate shapes and sizes, wherein at least one of said plurality of props includes a peg, said peg being mounted to a surface of said at least one plurality of props, said peg extending outward from said surface of said at least one of said plurality of props and wherein at least one of said plurality of props includes a hole, said hole being formed in a surface of said at least one plurality of props, said hole configured to have said peg mateably inserted thereinto; and
wherein said plurality of props are provided in shapes selected from a group consisting of: square block, rectangular block, wedge, triangular or semi-annular.
7. The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 6 , wherein in said third position said at least two magnets are below the upper surface of the surface of the first prop and second prop to which the at least two magnets are mounted.
8. The yoga block system operable to facilitate a multitude of yoga exercises as recited in claim 7 , and further including a cavity, said cavity being present above said at least two magnets upon said at least two magnets being in said third position.
