Abstract

A wireless device may receive downlink control information (DCI) that includes a cell index, wherein the cell index indicates one or more cells and a channel state information (CSI) request. The wireless device may also determine a cell to transmit a CSI based on the CSI request and the cell index of the DCI. The wireless device may also transmit a CSI via the cell.

Claims (67)

1. A wireless device comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the wireless device to:

receive downlink control information (DCI) comprising:

a cell index indicating a first plurality of cells of a plurality of cells;

resource assignments for the first plurality of cells; and

a channel state information (CSI) request;

determine a cell, of the first plurality of cells, to transmit a CSI based on the CSI request and the cell index; and

transmit, via the cell, the CSI.

2. The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the first plurality of cells comprises a first cell and second cell.

3. The wireless device of claim 2 , wherein the resource assignments comprise:

a first frequency domain resource assignment for the first cell; and

a second frequency domain resource assignment for the second cell.

4. The wireless device of claim 3 , wherein the DCI schedules:

a first transport block via the first cell based on the first frequency domain resource assignment being set to a first value different from a predefined value; and

a second transport block via the second cell based on the second frequency domain resource assignment being set to a second value different from the predefined value.

5. The wireless device of claim 4 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to transmit:

the first transport block via the first cell; and

the second transport block via the second cell.

6. The wireless device of claim 5 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to transmit:

the first transport block via one or more first frequency resources indicated by the first value; and

the second transport block via one or more second frequency resources indicated by the second value.

7. The wireless device of claim 4 , wherein the predefined value is zero or one.

8. The wireless device of claim 1 , wherein the cell index further indicates the first plurality of cells with the resource assignments for uplink transmissions via the first plurality of cells.

9. A base station comprising:

one or more processors; and

memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the base station to:

transmit, to a wireless device, downlink control information (DCI) comprising:

a cell index indicating a first plurality of cells of a plurality of cells;

resource assignments for the first plurality of cells; and

a channel state information (CSI) request, wherein the DCI indicates:

a cell, of the first plurality of cells, for the wireless device to transmit a CSI based on the CSI request and the cell index; and

receive, via the cell, the CSI.

10. The base station of claim 9 , wherein the first plurality of cells comprises a first cell and second cell.

11. The base station of claim 10 , wherein the resource assignments comprise:

a first frequency domain resource assignment for the first cell; and

a second frequency domain resource assignment for the second cell.

12. The base station of claim 11 , wherein the DCI schedules:

a first transport block via the first cell based on the first frequency domain resource assignment being set to a first value different from a predefined value; and

a second transport block via the second cell based on the second frequency domain resource assignment being set to a second value different from the predefined value.

13. The base station of claim 12 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to receive:

the first transport block via the first cell; and

the second transport block via the second cell.

14. The base station of claim 13 , wherein the instructions further cause the base station to receive:

the first transport block via one or more first frequency resources indicated by the first value; and

the second transport block via one or more second frequency resources indicated by the second value.

15. The base station of claim 12 , wherein the predefined value is zero or one.

16. A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a wireless device, cause the wireless device to:

receive downlink control information (DCI) comprising:

a cell index indicating a first plurality of cells of a plurality of cells;

resource assignments for the first plurality of cells; and

a channel state information (CSI) request;

determine a cell, of the first plurality of cells, to transmit a CSI based on the CSI request and the cell index; and

transmit, via the cell, the CSI.

17. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 , wherein the first plurality of cells comprises a first cell and second cell.

18. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 17 , wherein the resource assignments comprise:

a first frequency domain resource assignment for the first cell; and

a second frequency domain resource assignment for the second cell.

19. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 18 , wherein the DCI schedules:

a first transport block via the first cell based on the first frequency domain resource assignment being set to a first value different from a predefined value; and

a second transport block via the second cell based on the second frequency domain resource assignment being set to a second value different from the predefined value.

20. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to transmit:

the first transport block via the first cell; and

the second transport block via the second cell.

21. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 20 , wherein the instructions further cause the wireless device to transmit:

the first transport block via one or more first frequency resources indicated by the first value; and

the second transport block via one or more second frequency resources indicated by the second value.
