CREATING AND CONVEYING A CONTEXT-RELEVANT DIGITAL PRESENTATION
Methods and systems are provided for receiving from a remote computing device an indication of a unique identifier that is associated with a digital presentation, which can include a digital representation of value; referencing a datastore to identify the digital presentation; and causing the digital presentation to be presented via the remote computing device, including presenting the digital representation of value consistent with a set of presentation instructions.
1 . One or more non-transitory computer-storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed by at least one processor of a system, cause the system to perform a method, the method comprising:
receiving from a remote computing device an indication of a unique identifier that is associated with a digital presentation, wherein the digital presentation includes a digital representation of value;
referencing a datastore to identify the digital presentation;
causing the digital presentation to be presented via the remote computing device, including presenting the digital representation of value consistent with a set of presentation instructions.
2 . The computer-storage media of claim 1 , wherein the digital representation of value is a QR code that is useable to convey a monetary value upon redemption.
3 . The computer-storage media of claim 1 , wherein the digital presentation includes a link to one or more of the following:
a digital game;
a monetary gift;
a selection of items from which the recipient could choose a gift;
an item customized to the recipient's location at the time of redemption;
an experiential gift that requires recipient engagement to receive an ultimate gift;
a song playlist;
a video playlist;
a customized video;
a customized set of pictures;
a customized set of sounds;
a time-delayed that is receivable only upon the occurrence of a timed countdown;
an invitation;
a letter;
an avatar associated with the recipient or others;
a live camera feed; and
an augmented-reality presentation.
4 . One or more non-transitory computer-storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed by at least one processor of a system, cause the system to perform a method, the method comprising:
associating a unique identifier with a tangible object;
causing a first user interface to be presented on a remote device, wherein the first user interface includes one or more controls to customize a presentation experience that is to occur incident to receiving an indication of the unique identifier;
receiving instructions via the one or more controls to customize the presentation experience;
associating the customized presentation experience with a presentation identifier;
associating the unique identifier with the presentation identifier;
storing in a datastore the association between the unique identifier and the presentation identifier.
5 . The computer-storage media of claim 4 , wherein the first user interface is customized based on the unique identifier.
6 . The computer-storage media of claim 4 , wherein the first user interface includes controls to include digital content to be included in the presentation experience.
7 . The computer-storage media of claim 6 , wherein the digital content includes one or more of the following:
a digital game;
a monetary gift;
a selection of items from which the recipient could choose a gift;
an item customized to the recipient's location at the time of redemption;
an experiential gift that requires recipient engagement to receive an ultimate gift;
a song playlist;
a video playlist;
a customized video;
a customized set of pictures;
a customized set of sounds;
a time-delayed that is receivable only upon the occurrence of a timed countdown;
an invitation;
a letter;
an avatar associated with the recipient or others;
a live camera feed; or
an augmented-reality presentation.
8 . The computer-storage media of claim 4 , wherein the first user interface includes controls to indicate a common aspect of the digital presentation that is to be presented to multiple recipients as well as customized content that is contextually related to each the unique identifier.
9 . One or more non-transitory computer-storage media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that, when executed by at least one processor of a system, cause the system to perform a method, the method comprising:
presenting a user interface that enables a user to customize a recipient experience when the system receives an indication of a unique identifier, wherein the user interface includes one or more controls to define aspects of the recipient experience;
receiving, via the user interface, instructions that define the aspects of the recipient experience;
receiving an indication of a digital gift to be included as part of the recipient experience;
storing in a datastore a recipient-experience identifier that is useable to retrieve the aspects of the recipient experience;
receiving via a remote computing device an indication of the unique identifier;
causing the recipient experience to be presented via the remote computing device, wherein the recipient experience includes the defined aspects.
10 . The media of claim 9 , wherein the unique identifier is useable to uniquely identify a tangible object.
