Abstract

The subject matter of this specification can be implemented in, among other things, methods, systems, computer-readable storage medium. A method can include receiving, by a processing device, image data including one or more image frames indicative of a current state of a meal preparation area. The processing device determines a first quantity of a first ingredient disposed within a first container based on the image data. The processing device determines a meal preparation procedure associated with the first ingredient based on the first quantity. The processing device causes a notification indicative of the meal preparation procedure to be displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI).

Claims (28)

1. A method for inventory analysis, comprising:

obtaining, by a processing device, first image data indicative of a state of an area associated with a drive-thru restaurant;

obtaining, by the processing device, availability information regarding current availability of one or more items in the drive-thru restaurant;

obtaining, by the processing device, order data indicating one or more pending orders;

determining, by the processing device, a predicted replacement time for the one or more items based on the first image data, the availability information, and the order data;

determining, by the processing device, whether one or more individual items from the one or more items are expected to become unavailable based on the predicted replacement time; and

responsive to a determination that the one or more individual items are expected to become unavailable, causing a device proximate the area to provide a user alert indicative of the determination.

2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising obtaining second image data indicative of customer ingress, wherein determining the predicted replacement time is further based on customer ingress.

3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:

obtaining first pacing data corresponding to a drive-thru area of the drive-thru restaurant; and

wherein the determination that the one or more individual items are expected to become unavailable is further based on the first pacing data.

4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the order data is obtained from a point-of-sale system.

5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the user alert comprises one or more of:

a notification displayed on a graphical user interface of the device;

activation of a visual feedback system including a light source; or

activation of an auditory feedback system.

6. A system for inventory analysis, comprising memory and a processing device coupled to the memory, wherein the processing device is configured to:

obtain first image data indicative of a state of an area associated with a drive-thru restaurant;

obtain availability information regarding current availability of one or more items in the drive-thru restaurant;

obtain order data indicating one or more pending orders;

determine a predicted replacement time for the one or more items based on the first image data, the availability information, and the order data;

determine whether one or more individual items from the one or more items are expected to become unavailable based on the predicted replacement time; and

responsive to a determination that the one or more individual items are expected to become unavailable, cause a device proximate the area to provide a user alert indicative of the determination.

7. The system of claim 6 , wherein the processing device is further configured to obtain second image data indicative of customer ingress, wherein determining the predicted replacement time is further based on customer ingress.

8. The system of claim 6 , wherein the processing device is further configured to:

obtain first pacing data corresponding to a drive-thru area of the drive-thru restaurant; and

wherein the determination that the one or more individual items are expected to become unavailable is further based on the first pacing data.

9. The system of claim 6 , wherein the order data is obtained from a point-of-sale system.
